We preferred the unique club experience which allowed us to have a private pool which made a difference every morning there was towels out really early to get near infinity pool..Which should not be allowed. Our concierge Fermin was totally on point and very attentive.

Our time here at Lopesan was fantastic. The resort here is beautiful. The staff here are excellent. Plenty of restaurants, bars and pools. We were unique package and had a excellent butler named Jose. He was able to make all our reservations and helped with anything we needed for our room. He made our stay here a lot easier for us.

Lopesan is ok for an all inclusive. Not fabulous but not horrible either. We went with a family group of 10 people. Everyone complained about the food. Usually it was edible but certainly not great. Sometimes it wasn't edible at all. We had a couple of maintenance issues and they showed up within a few hours which we thought was pretty good. The main pools were very big and never felt crowded. The water at the beach always seemed cloudy and not clear at all. Overall we will not be coming back. I'm sure we could have had a better all inclusive experience but that probably would have cost double. Restaurants we thought were good were Mareas and Inari. We did not like La Boheme or El Charro. The cons... - lots of plastic ie; plastic water bottles, styrofoam cups at the coffee station, styrofoam plates for to go from buffet, plastic spoons for ice cream at ice cream shop, plastic utensils with room service - no real fruit juice for drinks at the bars. Margaritas and Pina coladas come out of a slushy machine. - room service food was horrible - TV not smart only local channels in Spanish - boulevard area with coffee shop is really long walk from the rooms - boats are close to the beach and some blast music super loud (see pics) Pros... - very well maintained grounds - room had nice large balcony with seating for four people - always able to find a lounge chair at the beach and the pool although maybe not in a prime location (although this seemed less likely at the end of our trip as it it got much more crowded) - buffet has a lot of options although not great food

Everything was AMAZING!!!
The entire experience was perfect! The all inclusive everything was amazing. Our butler Graviel Andreas was the best! He checked in on everyday, booked all our reservations, and even decorated the room for us for my friends birthday! He was very insightful and helped us with everything we needed! 10/10

We traveled as an extended family (9 adults) and had a wonderful time. It was our 5th stay at this resort and it never disappoints. The food, the beach, the Unique advantages, everything was perfect. Our wonderful butler, Jimmy, was the best butler we ever had (including at any other hotel we have ever visited in the Caribbean), helping us with everything and making sure to think of everything before we had to!! We will be back!
- AdvisoryLopesan Costa Bavaro does not accept Spring Breaker Groups. From February 1st until April 30th, person under the age of 22 years must be accompanied by an adult (23+) in the same room. Rooms with guests under 22 years will be denied at the check in (ID Check) and guests will be responsible for finding their own alternate accommodation.
