Beautiful ocean view!
We booked an ocean front suite. Large room with living room and balcony. Loved the view from the balcony. Lots of channels on the tv. The adult pool was very nice, however, you needed to get up early to get a spot. Not a problem for us. Both my brother and I are early risers. So we would go and enjoy the early morning, when it's quiet while ours spouses continued to sleep. Do be aware that if you park you towels and leave for more than 45 minutes, your things may be removed. I thought that was great. We saw several people come and get the best seats then disappear for 4 or more hours. Seriously, what is the point! Let someone else enjoy the spot if you don't want to be there. The beach area is lovely and well kept. We were able to book restaurants via the app no problem except that most of the available times are 8pm or later. The restaurants were very good. As for the buffet, it was ok. I am not a fan of buffet, so I'm not a reference but the staff was always great. The rooftop bar has amazing views but the wind can have a negative impact on the enjoyment. We literaly had to hold our glasses so that they did not spill because the wind was so strong. Great place to watch the sunsets but bring a sweater, can be cool with the wind. Do check out the sports bar. It is usually open in the evening. Great bartender. The coffee shop is great and the service excellent. The morning stretch yoga was fantastic! Thanks for that. We rented bikes at the front of the hotel and used the bike path. It was great. On the downside, there needs to be more seating in the lobby area. There is very limited seating. Around the pool areas, there doesn't seem to be enough seating for the number of guests at the hotel. We often saw people looking for seats at all times of the day. Also, we often had a hard time getting towels changed at the end of the day, not sure why, they would give us back our cards. And finaly, there is not enough evening entertainment. Bring board games for something to do, you are left on your own most evenings. Not even a piano player to enjoy. This is a 3 to 4 star hotel.

Fun time at the Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta
Our family spent 14 days at the Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta at the beginning of April/25. My son and my husband were in the GranFondo Riveria Nayrit (cycling race)..the hotel was the perfect location for us to stay (we had a 4 and a 2 1/2 year old...as well). Our grandchildren spent hours in the pool (therefore we did as well). The beach had vendors selling fresh mango's.. The staff in the buffet section: Miguel, Esther, Isidora, and Daniel..were excellent. They made our daily visits very enjoyable. *We were in the buffet most of the time as we were not going to spend hours on the phone trying to book reservations for 6. See you same time next year Krystal Grand:)

Dinner at the Grill
Hector, Delici & Jorge were wonderful at the Grill! Their service was great! Service was with a smile. The food & atmosphere was perfect! Everything was delicious & beautifully presented. I would highly recommend! As an all inclusive resort, everything was presented like a high end restaurant.

If this fits your budget, book it
Just recently came back from 10days at the Krystal Grande, traveling with my family and friends. I will say if this resort fits your budget, great - book it! If you're unsure, read on and decide for yourself. This is an older resort and in need of some TLC and furniture. Upon arriving you notice the lobby is small and has few places to sit. Our room was in the main building on the 4th floor. Beds are only full, not queen, pillows are lumpy, we only had 1 chair for the balcony, and the towel situation was strange, not the right amount and never any face cloths. The WiFi cuts in and out which can be annoying if you're trying to watch the Stanley cup playoffs, or trying to book reservations for the restaurants. The food was good, Rosario at the buffet was very kind, Adrien at the swim up bar was awesome as was Edgar with entertainment. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of evening entertainment and the lack of seating everywhere. There was a real relaxed pace for all the employees, they could have used more staff at the coffee shop (those ladies are amazing!) and all of the snack stands and bars. You often have to wait in line for a long time for food and drinks. The gym was also very small and in need of upgrading and cleaning. The beach had many chairs, umbrellas, vendors, and more. We bought trinkets, horseback riding, parasailing, got braids, and mangos, collected shells and rocks, and saw to many eels! This resort seems quite pricey for the level of service and amenities, but you can still enjoy a vacation here.

Fantastic experience!
Gustavo and the rest of the staff are fantastic! They always went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best experience during our stay. I highly recommend staying at Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta for a wonderful trip to the beautiful Riviera Nayarita!
