Every room has an ocean view. The buffet area is very nice and the food was delicious. The dancing show was great. It was so colorful. The room was very tired and worn out looking. It wasn’t very clean. I found Bobby pins on the rug. The bathroom was dark and dingy. The WiFi was not good at all. I would come here for dinner and the show, but not stay here again.
Nice Property, Excellent food and Large Pool
This was a stop on our Caravan Tour. Large property with good size rooms. They were working on the elevators, so only one was accessible but it was fine. Large lobby with couches which then flowed into a lounge, which is nice size. This flowed into the dining area which was beautifully set up buffet style. And their Sunday morning buffet setup was exquisite! So many delectable items to choose from. The pool is very large with a bar outside as well. We were on a upper floor overlooking the ocean and marina and it was a beautiful view. The rooms are a little dated in that they could use an upgrade in window coverings, a new coat of paint and new decor but very comfortable. Large closet with a separate coffee area. Very quiet as there was a wedding that evening and never heard a sound. Very comfortable bedding.
Job well done.
On Caravan Bus Tour. Employee Zelma Pe'rez went above and beyond to help Me and Wife to get a message to My travel friends. We were reuited at the pool area. She also provided information on drink policy and types of fruits on trees ( wife was interested). You are lucky to have an employee like Her on your staff. We are from USA and she was a nice weclome ambassador to Panama.
Decent hotel for the price
Nice rooms and great beds for the price. Most of the staff were nice and accommodating despite the language barrier. Staff Keyla needs to improve her attitude at times due to her responses to guest requests. Housekeeping staff are a little slow when it comes to cleaning or bringing requested items despite the hotel only having two out of three elevators working during our visit. The food was decent and the chef made great Cowfoot soup. Definitely an older hotel but they are doing their best. I might return due to enjoying the showers and the pool. Also had a great view of the ocean and the walkway near the marina.
Top notch hotel but beware of the elevators
I was here with a large group that had chosen this hotel. It was a good choice. Hotel is in a central location which makes it ideal for walking and exploring the area. It’s right by the marina. It has a very nice pool area with an adjoining restaurant for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was efficient. My room was quite large and offered a nice view of the city. Everything was clean and worked. WiFi was good too. My only issue was the shower in the bathroom. The overhead shower head needs to be replaced with a shower head/ hose combination fixture. Also, no bathtub but that’s not a problem for me. There are plenty of meeting rooms in the hotel. Our group used a couple of the meeting rooms for dinners and so forth. Everything went flawlessly. One room featured a large patio area which looked out over the marina. Very nice! However, there is one big negative with the hotel, namely the elevators. Under normal conditions, there are only 2 elevators that go to the top floors. This isn’t enough in my opinion but the situation was made worse as one was out of commission for repairs. When that one gets done, the other elevator will be taken out of service for maintenance. Waits of 10-15 minutes for an elevator were common. Some folks took the service elevator or walked down the stairs. Keep in mind my room was on the 22nd floor. My advice is to book a room on a lower floor so you can use the stairs if needed. Not sure when they will finish these repairs but they are extensive. Keep this in mind if you plan to stay here in the winter or spring of 2020. Otherwise, this hotel is an excellent choice and good value for money.
