    Not staying at iberostar resort ever again

    Room was not ready for check-in. Because they were cleaning. Room was not clean. Waited several hours for our room while many others were checked-in upon arrival. Room was old. Broken door on closet and dresser drawer. Fixed after we complained. Was told rooms are slowly being upgraded. Just not ours. Room was cleaned well 2 out of 7 days.our room faced the beach, there were two loud beach parties that we expected. But it was loud but we got to watch from our room. Also the doors are very thin, you can hear everyone in the hallways. Food was ok but not exceptional. Lacking flavor and often was cold. There was ice on the fruit and dome fruit was served frozen. Drinks are ok, but the wine option is terrible unless you pay for the wine. It is a little over priced. The day after you arrive they put the app on your phone and give you digital vouchers. To use a voucher you have to spend $100 to get $25 off. Tried to use the voucher but because it was on the phone they could not take it. We were told to get the adjustment when we checked-out. Was told sorry nobody can do that. There are a lot of additional costs. Cigars, fancy drinks, events at the kids club etc. Beach has a lot of seaweed. The beds on the beach are for the guests at the next resort. First few days there was no announcements about the entertainment. Several times they advertised events that just did not happen. There is a lack of seats around the pool. People save the chairs with a towel or a shoe and just don't come back and use it. The resort is ok with this. The advertising stated a water park. But it is actually a water feature. There is a lazy river at the next resort you can use for a fee. The guests at this resort can do whatever they want with no interference by the staff. They literally do not care what you do. Kids run all over the place, rollerblading around the pool without care for guests. People smoke, and eat by the pool beside signs that say not to. If you say something to the staff they shrug and say nothing we can do. We did not know there was 3 resorts in one. There is a cheap one, a better one and the best one. The cheap one, the one we were at. Most of the staff are rude and sullen. The second resort is better. The lifeguard actually calls out people for doing things wrong. The third resort we were not able to see. This was not a relaxing resort. It was loud and there was no quite places anywhere. Most of the staff do not see value in the guests. This was not worth the price of the resort. There is much better out there. Based on this visit we would never stay at an iberostar resort again.

    Best work trip ever!

    I stayed at the Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach for a work conference. The facility was lovely, the hotel was very clean and well kept, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had never heard of Iberostar resorts before this trip, but I would definitely stay at one again.

    I went with my family and it was a great experience and full of great memories from the moment i walked in i knew i was gonna have a great time! The pool was a great temperature and the beach waters were great! With good restaurant options and ice cream shop

    Great service & hospitality

    Janell was my concierge and she was a delight! She is very knowledgeable and made our experience ever so much more simple and seamless. Took care of all our needs. Overall the food, entertainment and ambience was thrilling and we look forward to our return! Kudos @ Ibero Waves and Janell.

    Our trip to Iberostar Waves Rosehall Beach

    We had a great time at Iberostar Waves Rosehall Beach. It’s a stunning resort with great food and entertainment. Our concierge Janell was so lovely and helpful. She was such a joy to work with. So helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely return
