We highly recommend this place for an unforgettable vacation with both friends and family. The location is stunning, the food is consistently delicious, and above all, the staff elevates the entire experience. Everyone is incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. A special shout-out goes to Asani, who goes above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the stay is outstanding. His attention to detail and thoughtful curation make each visit feel personalized and memorable. Kudos to him and the entire team at Star Prestige for their exceptional service! This was our fifth stay—and definitely not our last. We’re already looking forward to many more!

We came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday and it was so fun! We also had an 8 month old baby with us and the staff were so friendly and they really made sure to entertain her too! If you’re going to this resort please make sure you ask for Asani. He was the whole reason our stay went so smoothly. He also organized decorations and a complimentary cake for my brother’s room. We’ll definitely be back to this resort in the near future!

Amazing trip at a good price!
Went on a trip with my girlfriend to celebrate our graduation and it was amazing! Everyone we met was so nice and social, and the entertainers by the pool are always energetic and made us laugh. We tried the Japanese, Italian, and smokehouse restaurants and they were all amazing. I would definitely try to reserve these restaurants rather than going to the buffet every night to switch it up a bit. Also, the jerk chicken by the beach is a great alternative to sitting down at the buffet, especially if you want some great food fast. Our room was amazing and we had a great view and the bartenders are so nice. There is always entertainment from morning to night with time to relax as well. The ambassador, Asani is amazing and made sure our trip was unforgettable!

Luxury Stay Worth the Wait
We had an amazing time at the resort—truly a beautiful place with fantastic amenities and friendly staff. The property itself is stunning, with everything you could hope for in a relaxing getaway. However, the check-in process left a bit to be desired. We arrived early as our flight came in at 10am. We were enthusiastically greeted by the staff but was informed that the rooms wouldn’t be ready until 3pm which was understandable as that is the usual check-in time. Once it was close to 3pm we were asked to come back multiple times to check in because the rooms weren’t ready. It was frustrating after a long trip, especially with no clear timeline after a long day of travel. That said, the situation was handled professionally, and the staff eventually upgraded our room as a courtesy, which was a nice gesture and definitely improved our stay. Once we were settled in, everything was top-notch. The upgraded room was spacious, clean, and had incredible views. The food, beach and pool was great! Despite the rocky start, the rest of our experience more than made up for it. Would definitely return—just hoping for a smoother check-in next time!

Iberostar Resorts MoBay - Joia, Selection & Waves - Highly Recommended!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Waves. The staff is professional and friendly which is a great balance. A special shout out to Waves Ambassador, Asani who’s a pro at what he does, to Carolyn and Danielle thank you. You all have made our stay very enjoyable. All three priorities are highly recommended!
