Star Camp is free and part of the all-inclusive experience at Iberostar and features more than 140 age-based activities based on the approach and theory of multiple intelligences, which advocates personal growth through cooperation.

New hotel for us. Clean and great.staff. windy beach with chop. We were at Waves & expected to eat at the Steakhouse, part of Selection Iberostar. Rules changed with ownership change. Disappointed as food choice is high on our priority list. Loved visiting the cat sanctuary. What a great thing to provide on property.

Negatives first In December we changed the date of our holiday. We had all the documentation for new dates. However upon arrival to thw hotwl after 10hr flight we were told there was no booking for us till a week later. Clearly an error. This could've been rectified easily but the reception desk did not care and just said call your tour operator and mo ed onto next customer. We were left nearly 2hours trying to get it sorted. Tui blamed hotel, hotel blamed tui. Yet no one was sorting the problem. We're went offered a drink or an empathetic response from Sheryl on the front desk. Eventually got a room in another hotel for the night after being up for 22 hours whilst they sorted it Make sure the hotel has you booking before coming here Lifts didn't work the whole week. Pool area was very noisy with constant loud music. We don mind noise but the entertainment team are so loud and when they use the microphone it booms. The music booms loud all day too .So if you want quiet and relaxing this is not the place. We could name on one hand the number of staff that were welcoming helpful and happy. Saskia, Felicia, Jean Paul and a lovely lady in guest services (cant remeber her name) were amazing. Most seem miserable and everything seem too much hassle, even asking for cold milk for a cup of tea. Totally rude server In the italian Resturant Positives Food was fantastic, lots of choice Room very clean, comfortable bed and pillows Pool , beach area and grounds beautiful and well maintained

My stay at Iberostar Waves was amazing! Partly due to being in beautiful Jamaica, but mostly due to the exceptionally professional, kind and thoughtful staff! Especially Felecia! She went above and beyond to help us with our community service event and just making sure we were good overall. We really appreciated her time, dedication and effort!

First class entertainment staff
I never write reviews, but this time feel I have to. The entertainment staff are phenomenal, of course at dancing, but also at being friendly, attentive and welcoming - they really affected our experience and memories of Jamaica. We will never forget you Fresh, Micky, Too Short, and you all, each one. Thank you for sharing your passion for dance and life, you are awesome.

This was our 6th visit to Iberostar Rose Hall ( once at the Suites side). We are prestige members and we just love Jamaica and the Iberostar. We are 2 adults and 2 children (6 & 4). This time our room was a ground floor room close to the pool and beside the beach - Room 1024. We were here for 11 nights including NYE. Staff - I cannot emphasize enough how lovely the staff are here. Despite the hardship receiving from the hurricane, there was always a smile on their face, a greeting and a willingness to help. I have to say, since day one of visiting it is always a highlight to walk in to breakfast and have LORIS & CASSANDRA greet you. They remember us, embrace us with their beautiful smiles and their years of experience are very evident - the customer service is top notch. We never had a bad experience with any server- they were all wonderful, attentive & kind. Food- you cannot ask for or expect more. They have it all. Fresh, cooked properly, flavourful, and plenty. They food for all palettes, ages, and dietary restrictions. Absolutely delicious. (I’d also like to mention in 6 times we’ve travelled here- no one has gotten sick). Another star attraction- the Indian food station at dinner. OMG. The young man who cooks and serves there is the sweetest and most fun too. He interacts with everyone. I cannot remember his name but it was something that sounded like ocean (lol sorry) but he deserved a shout-out. Such a pleasant person 😊 Cleanliness/Sanitary - no complaints. The staff work nonstop at tidying up. Prestige Club: here is where we were slightly disappointed this time. As members we were never checked on (until another family complaint on our behalf), no special requests were met. Nothing lacking but we were not impressed either. Beach/Pool: shocking to say this, but for December/January the pool was actually freezing lol. The beach- I wish they could remove some of the seaweed and reef, especially in-front of the members area. Maybe they’re not allowed to? I’m not sure. It’s still a beautiful beach, just not one you can bobble in because of all the floating stuff. (And it’s always been like this, not just because of winter/hurricane) We love the waves and cannot wait to return back soon. (Twice a year). You won’t regret it here. Especially with kids.
