Our endless buffet serves a continental breakfast, full breakfast and dinner. Dinners at Cozumel Buffet showcase Mexican, Italian, Asian, and international specialties.

A fine A la carte restaurant, the steakhouse specializes in fine cuts of grilled or barbecued meat. Formal dress required; although longer shorts are permitted.
- Las 2 Marias Tex-Mex Restaurant

The resort was great! Nice pool, good entertainment - buffet food was fair but restaurants were EXCELLENT. Unfortunately, we were scheduled to dive Friday and Saturday of our weekend and even though things appeared glorious, warm and calm by the resort, the Cozumel Port Authority closed the harbor to small craft… So we didn’t get to dive AT ALL! 😣😢 It is not a reflection of the resort or Dressel Divers- they can’t control such things. Just know that it is entirely possible you may trek all the was here to sit on the beach and star at the Caribbean that you can’t enter…. Le sigh… in 30 years of diving, I have never had a trip where EVERY dive was cancelled… Although Cozumel is still on the list, it will be a few years before I spend the time, energy and financial resources with the chance of this debacle again…

We arrived the afternoon of 10/14/2026 with a group of 8 people. We split a van ride to Iberostar-Cozumel. I paid my portion of the cab and tipped the driver (all money was accounted for). I stood in line at the desk to check in. I removed my credit card, and my money was in my wallet at that time. I didn't need the credit card, so I returned it to my wallet. We took our bags to our room and were in a hurry to get to the pool with our group. We did not unpack. We came back to the room to get ready for dinner and the show. We still did not unpack until after the show. While unpacking we discovered that ALL of our money had been taken from my wallet. I had over $1100 in the wallet. They left my cards but took all of the cash. We went to the front desk, and security came back to our room to search the room. They did not find anything. I said they were going to check the logs for the door and would need 72 hours to investigate. I went back to the front desk the next morning and spoke with Laura. She brought out a log of people going in and out. When we left for dinner, there was another entry 15 seconds later after we left, but no exit. She stated that was from our wrist bands, and no one had entered the room. My bag with the money NEVER left the room after arrival. Someone entered our room and stole the money. The security logs were NOT correct. They stated we should have used the safe. I believe I was targeted from the beginning, and I think they have an entire inside theft ring. We were violated when someone entered our room and violated again when the staff brushed it off like it was our fault for not using the safe. We should have sense of security in a locked room. You should investigate the staff at Iberostar and see what is really going on. They are running a theft ring and are manipulating the logs to make sure they stay cleared. This was an awful experience.
