Great people, great location!
My fiancé and I spent 5 nights at Iberostar Coral Cancun. It was our first time to an all inclusive as well as Mexico in general. We were impressed by the customer service as soon as we arrived. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good time without forcing you do do anything. Below is a list of some of the people who helped us and made us feel welcome. I tried to get and remember as many names as I could. Octavio in concierge Angel in club membership (although we did not get the membership, you can say no to this but enjoyed talking to Angel) Santiago the Corales/pool bartender Ernesto, Carlos, and Ramses in La Barca restaurant Jorge in the cabana service Carlos in pool/towel service Valery and Beto in entertainment at the pool Irma the bartender at the Coral lobby bar Beyond the customer service, the views and resort itself were beautiful. The room is spacious, clean, and bright - plus a beautiful view! We didn’t join in many activities but there was always something going on during the day. At night there was always a singer, a show, or some form of entertainment. Minor complaints/suggestions is a better variety of music at the pool. Every day felt like the same playlist. Also, please play more Latin music! I would also suggest adding something like wings to the White Shark menu, but that’s just what we like. :) We plan to come back and make it our home away from home in Mexico.

Unforgettable Stay – Beautiful Resort & Outstanding Service!
We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun. The resort is stunning—modern, clean, and beautifully designed. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the lobby made a fantastic first impression. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a gorgeous washroom, but the highlight was the balcony with a breathtaking oceanfront view and a private tub—it was the perfect place to relax. A huge thank you to Nelson, who helped plan a picture-perfect proposal. His attention to detail and coordination with the hotel staff made the moment truly magical. We also want to give a big shout-out to Daniel, one of the head chefs, who consistently prepared delicious vegetarian options for us at the buffet and bar—he made sure we were always well taken care of. Ernesto and Miguel were fantastic servers at the buffet—friendly and attentive every day. Edgar kept the energy high with fun and engaging entertainment by the pool, and Andres made our dinner at the Mexican restaurant a highlight of the trip. The infinity pool and beach area were both exceptional—clean, calm, and relaxing. And Santiago made some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. Overall, the resort exceeded all expectations. The service, cleanliness, food, beach, and staff were all amazing. Highly recommend for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway.

For adults only, the Coral area of Iberostar is it!
This Iberostar is separated into two adjacent properties, short walk between. We (7 60-year-old girlfriends) stayed on the Coral property which is different from the Selection side in that Coral is adults-only, much smaller, top-shelf liquor (ie Grey Goose), US domestic beer/pop like canned Coors Lite and canned Coke products, all rooms have a balcony and view, swim-up bar, it's own beach and pool, it's own smaller buffet and wristbands that easily allow you into the room. The lines @ bars, for coffee, buffet, outdoor grill were small if at all and the whole Coral side was way less crowded and chill than Selection side. We loved how close everything, including the pool and beach, were to our building. There were some rockstar bartenders that could customize drinks and really fun pool games/activities. The Selection side had the restaurants. I was the only plant-based/vegan/vegetarian in the group and there were SOLID choices listed right on most restaurant menus. Hibachi was my favorite and the only place that takes reservations so make them early. Next fave was the steakhouse, which had two veggie menu items, then Mexican that had two vegan quesadillas with melty vegan cheese and a stuffed poblano pepper. The other restaurants had veggie options but we were there a short time and only dined at those three. The lunch/dinner buffets had some clearly marked vegetarian or vegan for some of the items, but overall pretty typical Cancun. The Coral breakfast buffet had soy milk for the granolas and cereal, avo-toast makings (including pickled red onions and white beans), roasted potatoes, fried potatoes, lots of fruit and juices and THE best coffee! The Coral pool grill had GREAT french fries and would grill up a beyond burger on the days they had them. There were water stations everywhere with different infusions. My favorites were watermelon, orange and cucumber and sometimes I would mix them. The Coral rooms were big with double sinks and large showers. Our beds were comfy but pillows too fluffy so we went in the app and ordered other pillows which was a nice feature. The balcony had a rack you could pull out from the wall to hang your bathing suits on and there was a desk area with chairs and a sofa. Wifi worked well all over the property. The beach was beautiful but we didn't get in much since there were red flags the whole time, not sure if that's usual or it was just choppy/windy while we were there. It was a short drive to the airport which was nice, and very clean property. The reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars are: one of the two elevators on Coral property was broken for 3 days, so it took a while to get to/from the room. Not sure why it was taking so long to fix it. We had a server at Coral one night that was terrible and the food my friends ordered (salmon, steak) was inconsistent quality/amounts. Our room fridge wasn't very cold. There weren't enough electrical outlets in the bathroom or near beds. Overall such a nice trip. Really glad we stayed on Coral Property.

50th birthday celebration
Food at Coral buffet was excellent. Pool, too small for the amount of guests. Wasted time eating at restaurants at selection. Too many kids. Guadalupe, prestige and Jorge pool concierge were amazing at the Coral. Water in the pool needed cleaned.
