Will never go back!
Very familiar with the Iberostar properties as we have been loyal to the brand over the years. Traveled with a party of 7 in 4 rooms. Pros: one of the nicest resorts from the size, cleanliness, pools and beach. So what could be wrong? Nearly everything else. Food at the Coral restaurants were okay but nothing outstanding. The other restaurants at the Bavaro and sister properties were absolutely horrible. Food was generally bland and cold. What you ordered rarely showed up on your plate. I get food being unavailable and needing to substitute items, but that should be conveyed at the time you order. They would just lie to your face saying you got what you ordered. If you ordered an appetiser you would be lucky to get it or get it right as your entre was being served. Being a Coral guest you SHOULD have privileges at the other property restaurants however every night it was a fight. The website and hotel app indicate what restaurants need reservations and which are first come first serve. Every restaurant demanded we needed a reservation or indicated they were full for the night even being there 45 min after they opened. You constantly had to get guest services involved for them to get your room on the waiting list. After the second night we sat down with hotel management and they made reservations for all the specialty restaurants. You would think this is great news except when you show up to those restaurants they never can find your reservation. By the third night I had hotel management message me on whatsapp with all the reservation times so when we showed up to dinner and were denied you had someone to call. Sister properties would state that the website was wrong or the app was wrong regarding reservations or who was able to dine at that restaurant. Every night was an issue and the icing on the cake was bland, cold food. The Smokehouse food was flat out inedible. Bad sign with the restaurant manager is taking pictures of the food that was served at your table. Ordering drinks was a constant issue. If you asked for Jim Beam Bourbon you would get served JB Scotch. You had to show pictures of the bottle on your phone to increase your chances of getting the right drink. Coral bars had premium liquors and would consistently out of bottles for days while the neighboring Coral bar had them stacked 4 deep. You had to shop around. For our inconvenience we were given SPA vouchers...my wife goes for an hour session and they said to give the certificate to the Coral front desk. They of course deny it saying it wasn't for the right service despite the certificate saying nothing to the contrary. So I gave them all 7 certificates back to credit the one session. All hotel management was good at was giving lip service. Absolutely no leadership over ALL the properties. Lastly, be cautious if you book airport transportation through Iberostar. We had two private vehicles take us from the airport to the hotel...no issue there. They gave me a contact at the resort to confirm return trip transportation. The guy the put you in contact with also sells execurision and will not confirm your return transportation until after days of trying to sell you excursions. Finally by the end of week he confirms the details and pickup time. Of course the two hotel vehicles were a no show....a great way to end the trip. Had to negotiate with another company that just so happened to be dropping guests off.

Make you waste your time doing a timeshare presentation.
They try to sell you on a timeshare at every turn and even tell you dinner reservations aren’t available unless you come back to listen to them. We are here now. Restaurants that require reservations are empty but they won’t seat you or make a reservation unless you waste your time doing the timeshare.

Best family resort! Thanks Akiny, John, Ismael at El Faro at Coral Level & club reception for making stays special.
I’ve been visiting this incredible resort since 2016, back when it wasn’t even called Coral yet, and I’ve made it a point to return sometimes more than twice a year. It’s hands down the best resort I’ve ever experienced, especially for families looking to unwind, recharge, and create unforgettable memories. The pristine beaches, relaxing atmosphere, and top-notch amenities make it the perfect spot to rest and have a great time, but what truly sets it apart are the people who work here—they make every stay feel special and personal. A huge shoutout to the amazing team at El Faro restaurant: Akany, John, and Ismael. Your warm hospitality, delicious recommendations, and genuine care turned every meal into a highlight of our trip. Whether it was a casual lunch or a sunset dinner, you guys made us feel like family. Thank you for always going above and beyond! Also, a big thank you to the wonderful staff at the club reception. Your efficiency, friendliness, and helpful tips made check-in and any requests seamless and stress-free. If you’re seeking a family-friendly paradise where relaxation meets adventure, this resort is unbeatable. We’ll be back soon—can’t wait! Highly recommend to anyone planning a getaway.

Paradise on Earth
We have just come back after 11 nights in paradise. From the moment we arrived to the time we departed, this was the best holiday we have ever had around the world. The location, room, service, food and staff were first class. To be able to have the quality of food daily was excellent. We especially enjoyed the beautiful swimming pools and location to the stunning beach. We will return next year. Thank you everyone.
