Amazing Wedding Site
We were married at this hotel in August with 50 guests. It was truly amazing. The setting was gorgeous, the food was good and the service from our wedding coordinator Alicia Alvarez and her staff was perfect. We used their photographer, videographer and DJ and were completely satisfied. They accommodated all our asks and needs. I recommend this hotel and their wedding department to all 10/10.

Beware: $3 Shots Turn Into $30 Scam
If they offer you a shot for $3, they’ll actually charge $30. When you ask for a liquor menu, they say it doesn’t exist. This is how they cheat customers. When you call the manager, they immediately lower the price but then disappear without resolving anything. The manager promised to call us the next day but never did. Many other reviews on travel sites report the same complaints — they make promises but never take action. It’s a pattern they repeat all the time.

A disappointing return to a favorite place
Our 4th visit to this location but first as the Hyatt Ziva. Common faculties had been renovated since our last visit but much of what we enjoyed was lost. Not much of Mexican authenticity left. Our first experience was listening to a Hyatt Club sales pitch that was said to be a quick facility orientation. Drinks were pathetic/ nothing upscale in plastic cups. Special items in restaurants were extra $$. I could go on but….

Beautiful Resort
This resort is beautiful. It is located between two cliffs so it is secluded and private. We spent 7 nights here and loved every second of it. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always great. We LOVED Melanzzane, Blaze and Tamari the most - but we never strayed from the buffet for breakfast and lunch. The staff here are incredible. The only downfall: people are constantly trying to get you to buy something, including the staff that greets you after check-in . They try to get you to book a breakfast for a timeshare promising you a free extra 2-hour spa day. People are constantly trying to get you to purchase something on the beach but honestly, all totally worth it for the seclusion, privacy and the INCREDIBLE views. You just have to keep saying no. We spent extra and got a swim-out balcony attached to our room that advertised an infinity pool. Our pool had a huge concrete slab in front of it so it wasn't exactly as shown or advertised. Other than that, zero complaints. Well worth the money and travel. They cleaned our room every single day. There are so many excursions nearby that we loved but you literally have everything you could ever need at the resort if you don't want to leave. Even with the small disappointments like the concrete slab taking over our view in our swim-out pool, we loved it so much we will be back.

Spa vacation.. well worth the visit.
Had a couples massage today… the staff are amazing, so helpful, got a head massage and cucumber mask while sitting in the hot tub before our massage. Francisco was great, had 80 minute massage and it was wonderfully relaxing. The spa itself is lovely. The facilities include a pool with all different massage jets, two hot tubs, sauna, steam and walking therapy pool. Also they have a very well equipped gym to satisfy hardened gym goers.. with killer views:)
