Very Happy Stay. Hyatt Regency is the one if we return to Oahu

Very comfortable bed, old building but room functioned well. The staff were all very kind and courteous, except the concierge guy, who was only interested in selling tour packages.

    Not worth the price

Hotel is not worth the price. Reception staff was excellent and hotel was at beach, however most hitels are at beach so makes no difference. This Hotel is not a 4 ⭐️ . I will make it 3 ⭐️ or 2.5 ⭐️. The rooms are very mediocre and there is hardly any service. Beds are just about okay. Long time in queue to get in elevator. Hotel restaurants are not even worth a look. The room did not have courtesy water or cookies that you generally have in 4 ⭐️.. i went with my 12 year old son and 13 year old Daughter. Worst part was non functional TV. It was pain to start or see anything on TV. And most parents will understand my frustration. If kids do not have TV there vacation is spoilt. The only way to watch TV is by using your phone to chrome cast. When I tried it did not work, I called customer service and she connected me to technician. He took all the info from room number to Hotel I am staying and for how many nights so that he can pair each phone by changing its privacy and security settings. There was a technician I was connected with and he made my phone settings change however still I was not able to chrome cast from my iPhone and I gave up after 30 -45 minute of debugging.. May be it will work easily with Samsung or Android phones or older model of iPhones. Vacation was not vacation anymore as non functional TV made it into an argument as to why we could not be in a Mariott or Hilton which we were in earlier in Honolulu stay. And I dont blame the kids as they were enjoying beach 🏝️ and surf boarding however they need to unwind at night on TV to make it a peaceful vacation. Paid 800$+ for 2 nights and booked another hotel and will check out tomorrow.

    Great stay in Waikiki!!

Our family returned for another stay and had a wonderful experience once again! We booked two rooms with two queen beds and visited during the December holiday season — it was fantastic. Before our arrival, we coordinated with Alaina, who did an excellent job securing us side-by-side rooms close together. Communication was easy, and she was very helpful throughout the process. The rooms were large, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Although the hotel was busy during the holidays, the beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the property made our stay even more enjoyable. Some additional highlights included: The Regency Club Lounge — The food served in the mornings and evenings was delicious. The Beach — Located right across the street, where we spent plenty of time swimming and playing in the waves. The Staff — Everyone we encountered — from check-in to valet, bell service, housekeeping, and dining — was helpful and welcoming. Waikiki — Being right in the heart of Waikiki, with easy access to so many restaurants and shops, was incredibly convenient. We had such a great time that we’re already planning to return again this summer for another stay — and we can’t wait!

Comfy bed, very noisy room in huge resort with so-so amenities

Beds were very comfy and room had all necessary amenities, but the resort is huge, very noisy, and right on the loudest, most touristy part of Waikiki! You can hear traffic, etc through the sliding door. If you don't mind noise and crowds it's not bad, otherwise not recommended. Gym was decent, pool wasn't very nice, too much noise and crowds for our taste.

Beautiful view, great location, kind staff

Came back from a lovely short stay with my husband. Shout out to manager Nick who made our stay extra special. We stayed in the new remodeled room in the tower with a beautiful sea view. Pool restaurant had the best pizza I’ve ever had. Kind and attentive waitstaff. A lot of restaurants on site and also easy to walk to tons nearby. They let you have beach chairs and towels which is great. We just had the best time and everything was perfect. Can’t wait to return!
