Resort was nice and clean. Weather was nice. Location was convenient as it is located in the center of the city. The ability to rent beach chairs and water gear was a plus. The ability to rent towels and return towels through a machine was brilliant, speeds up time and minimize wait time. However, amenities and classes were limited to the same activities. Only negative was multiple front desk made empty promises. Did not deliver on what was for our special occasion and when brought to attention, the concerns were brushed off, apology did not seem sincere, and situation was never resolved. But aside from that all, our stay was decent. Did not meet my expectations judging by the price it charges for one night. However, the resort did have souvenir bottles in each room and had water filter systems available to refill bottles. That is a plus to this resort.

Average to below average at best, while it is conveniently located, it was not worth the price to have rooms with terrible water pressure, non working outlets, stained and cracked ceilings and acs that barely worked.

I have stayed in Hawaii before but my experience at Hyatt Waikiki was phenomenal. Great checkin, status recognized, staff was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and so welcoming, The staff was able to upgrade me to oceanview on a high floor. Location is perfect- across the street from Waikiki beach, right in downtown area by the heart of the shopping and restaurants. Since it was December, Christmas decorations were up in the hotel and area, Christmas music playing, Hawaiian music. Everything was just perfect and when I visit family I will stay here again.

We had an amazing experience. The club room was great, good food, excellent service. The view from our room was also amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful stay in Honolulu
Great and convenient location. Warm and helpful staff. Wonderful Club Lounge for those that have access to the club lounge.

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa, in accordance with Hawaii state law, has a non-smoking policy in all guestrooms, including lanais and balconies. Smoking is prohibited in guest rooms unless the room is designated as a smoking room, which is then only permitted on the lanai or balcony. A smoking room can be requested but it is only a request and cannot be guaranteed. Guests smoking in the non-smoking floor guest rooms will be assessed a $250.00 cleaning fee by the hotel.
