    Should have stayed with Hilton......

Booked through Costco Travel. Older hotel,(as many are there), with substantial updating. Second floor check-in. Be prepared to walk plenty, as restaurants, etc. are on 3rd floor and some distance from the tower we were in. Lots of shops in open air atrium. Could never count on hot water consistently. Showers would go cold without warning. They have some funky bolt-on bidet on the toilet that cuts the seat down by about 25%. It's got a fan built in to it. Worthless and uncomfortable for an average size person. Can't imagine being "oversize" and sitting on it. We paid for an ocean view room. What that delivers is being right on the street next to the beach, where there are street performers, cars racing, loud sport bikes, etc. until at least 2 am every night. It's so loud you have to turn the TV up way above normal just to hear it. Desks in room were old, finish peeling off. The water is chlorinated so heavily that it wreaks even when used for coffee. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere a block or two back from the beach where it's quiet and there's plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc. You can be at the beach in 5 minutes. BTW.... be prepared for plenty of tour solicitors and some homeless people on the sidewalks. Yes....they'll approach you while you're waiting to cross the street. Get used to it.

Good location, okay amenities, terrible sleep

Location is great, close to Waikiki and shopping centers. Sleep is terrible. There is construction building next to it that starts before 6 am in the morning, and a restaurant that plays loud music past 11 PM at night. To make matters worse, the sliding door is not sound proof and cannot be fully closed.

Great Location, Nice Staff, Loud Street = I will come back with earplugs + headphones

+ Pros Great location and very nice and helpful staff, self parking is a bit challenging. - Cons Very Very Very loud streets. Maybe it was just myself because my wife didn't have too much trouble falling asleep. But a bit warning for the light sleepers, the crazy vrooms, parties, singing all sound fun until it's 11 pm and you really want to get some rest. The staff helped us to find a higher floor which helped a bit but it's still quite noisy. overall it's a great experience.

    Not a good experience

The lounge is small and old. The breakfast was mediocre. The internet is slow and unstable. The street side room can hear loud noise at night and I had terrible sleep these days, while the staffs have offered zero mitigation solutions.
