The Drums of the Pacific luau - is featured nightly at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. This show is known as one of the best on the island with excellent cuisine, friendly service, and an amazing show that provides an artistic tour of the islands of Polynesia.
Tour of the Stars - More than 1,000 years ago, voyaging Polynesians were guided to the Hawaiian Islands with the help of the stars. The 14-inch reflector telescope is more than nine stories up, and allows guests to view those stars and much more. Shows nightly on the hotel rooftop. Romance Show for Couples only available on Fridays & Saturdays.

Everything was very well organized and clean. We liked the location and service of the hotel provided. If we come back to Maui again, will definitely stay again at this hotel.

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa
The hotel has beautiful views of the ocean right from the lobby area, reserve an oceanfront room, it is worth it. The wildlife was fun to learn about for my teens, they have African penguins, parrots and swans! All the hotel staff provided amazing service and even switched our luau date when we had a medical emergency. Rooms are spacious, well laid out and very comfy. Our family is already planning our next stay there!

Definitely a Getaway
When I stepped foot onto the property, I knew it was going to be nice. This was definitely a treat for me. I usually stay in budget hotels, so this was a HUGE step up. This hotel is big. It has 3 pools and a large outdoor garden area that houses tropical greenery. I took so many pictures. And like everyone has mentioned, there are penguins! Behind the pool area is the beach. There is space to walk along it, but not to post up with a blanket and umbrella. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a nice view from our balcony. This hotel is near the other upscale hotels in Kaanapali and if you walk down some more, you'll reach the shopping area. There are activities on the property, but I didn't experience any of them. They had mermaid class, penguins feeding, along with many others. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. You definitely get what you pay for.

Our Favorite Maui Getaway Year After Year
My husband and I visit Maui every February, and the Hyatt Regency Maui has become our favorite place to stay. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are lush and meticulously maintained, and the oceanfront views are absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights of our trip every year is being able to watch whales breaching right from our room. It never gets old and truly feels magical. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and the overall experience is both relaxing and unforgettable. We look forward to returning year after year.

Great location!
Great location with many recreational activities available at the resort. Within walking distance to many great restaurants (and some onsite too!) and a shopping center. Blue Hawaiian is located in the lobby to schedule all your excursions like surfing lessons, catamaran snorkeling events, etc.
