Wunyerly was amazing!!! Best hostess ever. We had the best day with her at the pool. She was attentive and kind and offered all sorts of advice. She had the whole pool to cover but we never felt neglected. She had knowlege of the island even tho is from Venezuela.

Jan 15, 2025Prepare to wait almost 1 1/2 hour in the checking, be on top of the reservation yourself and ask every single detail
What an absolute disaster of a stay. The Hyatt flag to big for this place Don’t even know where to begin with this nightmare of a hotel experience. From the moment I walked in, everything was wrong. First off, the check-in process was a disaster. The front desk staff has like 100 steps to finish a check in, and I had to wait over 55 minutes, plus the wait in the line more than 40 minutes. When I finally got my key, It was 6 PM, and check-in was supposed to be at 4 PM. We ask to extend our stay for one more day, for 5 people (which was confirmed at the front desk), but when we arrived to the room, the room was 1 king they told us they didn’t have the room we reserved and tried to give us a king bed for all five of us!, so I call to get a rollaway bed, housekeeping told me we have to call security to check, because the fire department and ……., that we don’t need to know, just another way to don’t accept responsibility. 7:30 = I call again the said “ we don’t have rollaway bed”. I said that not what you say the first time. answer “ well we don’t have, I can’t do anything for you” 8:30 = I proceed to call front desk: When I call they say “ I have in my notes: we tell you we don’t have 2 doble beds” that was a big lie!!! a. First why you give me a room that does not fit 5 people? b. Second why you don’t tell me we don’t have a room to extend your stay, that will save all this disaster. c. Third when I ask for to extend to another night they ask me you want to stay in the same room, I said, “do you have something less pricy, they said “Yes”. So if you offer me to stay in the same room means you have rooms, I ask for something more cheaper if you don’t have that’s fine, I could stay in that same one, but no, you just gave me, the first you see without seen how’s the room. d. After talking with several people and manager they said you can stay, or you can leave. I answer, “so if I stay you are ok that 3 people sleep in the floor?” she answer “well sir you have to do what you have to do” if the floor is ok well. This is a huge failure on their part, and completely ruined our trip. We had to scramble to find another place to stay, and it was an awful experience all around. We ended up leaving and demanding a refund. Avoid this hotel if you have a reservation for a group! They clearly don’t have their act together and won’t honor what you book.

Beautiful ground and hotel for sure. Nice bed, pillows and wonderful shower and bathroom. The hotel was spread out, so depending on what building you're staying in, in may be a long walk. HOWEVER, they are pretty good about getting someone to pick you up in a gold cart. The beach here in just ok... they charge you for everything here and I mean everything. Before committing here, check all the extra fees you'll be paying. The food here is kinda pricy and just ok. It is a beautiful and classy resort.

Wedding weekend
Omar was always checking in with my family and I . The whole trip he remember my family and my little daughter's names . Just over all took care of us . The resort is beyond beautiful . I would be going back in the near future. Just make sure to know no cash its all card or charge to the room

The area surrounding the property is lovely. The rooms are OK but the prices of food and beverages are terrible. Yes, one can expect an expensive drink &/or dinner BUT ..... $80 for a breakfast (for 2 people) is an absolute SIN. I will never go there again just because of that.
