    Great stay as always

We’ve been to Aruba many times, and the last several times Hyatt Regency was our hotel of choice. The grounds are beautiful; the food is tasty (although expensive) and all the great outside restaurants are pretty much across the street! We needed to switch rooms, and that was a smooth experience as well. I highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back.

Great staff, good food, Watered down drinks,

Overall good experience, I would be cautious of the alcohol being served in the drinks. They water it down. Makes me concerned about other things. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. food is very good, pancakes could use a bit more flavor otherwise neat, clean and fresh food

Amazing experience for our first time in Aruba

This was our first visit to Aruba, and the Hyatt did not disappoint!! The grounds are absolutely stunning and the customer service was amazing from start to finish. We stayed in an oceanfront King Bed Studio Balcony Room, and the view from that room was STUNNING. Front desk check-in was seamless and great customer service. Housecleaning was top notch and kept our room stocked with towels and water. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We used the Jeep rental that is right there at the Hyatt for a day and it was such a great experience. Bar service was top notch. Chair rentals were a bit hard to get if you didn't get there early enough. but you can get free chairs pulled right up to the ocean for you without an umbrella, but there is a little stand right there in front of the Hyatt next to the beach called Delphi that you can rent an umbrella from ($50 a day). I like sitting right next to the water so that is what we did after day one. The only thing negative I have to say is the drinks were very very pricey, (but good) and the beach towel service was a little stingy on letting you get towels. One day we just wanted some towels to go sit by the pool bc there were no pool chairs available, and they questioned us like we were trying to steal their towels. It was weird, but that is the only negative experience we had. The acai bowls were so delicious along with the smoothies and juices. The breakfast buffet was just ok, and a bit pricey. I would recommend going across the street to the Dutch Pancake House for breakfast, Or the food shack right past the Hyatt, they served really good breakfast wraps. Overall, this was an amazing trip and we will definitely be back.

The best vacation we've every had!

The staff was so friendly, helpful and accomodating. Every area was always neat and clean. They provided us with everything we needed. All the restaruants in the resort were amazing and offered many options! Beach and poolside service was a nice feature. The resort is conveniently located within walking distance of many other great restaurants and shops. Taxis and rentals were always waiting close by for longer trips. This was our first trip to Aruba but after this experience, we will definitely be back.

This IS the best Resort in Aruba!

Our second stay and my second review of the Hyatt Regency. Our family stay started very well with the same great, friendly service from the bell and front desk staff while arriving at the beautiful airy lobby of this great property. You’ll immediately notice the staff here are well trained and helpful. Although we had to wait just a bit for our suite to be ready, they made the deadline. We were a bit disappointed that we were told a higher floor would be available but our second floor, ocean front room proved to be fine. We did experience a slight dripping noise from the AC unit and had to call 3 times in 2 days before it was resolved. This wasn’t a huge deal but could’ve been dealt with a bit more expeditiously. Don’t let any of this deter you from what the Hyatt has to offer. Great, friendly employees, awesome restaurants, a very beautiful pool, well maintained beach, clean, well cared for rooms and the list goes on! I must note the casino here is very clean and smoke free! I took advantage of the $15 free play they gave me for signing up for their players program and turned it into $75! I also won $$ on blackjack with great rules. The swim up bar is also very nice and convienient but as experienced on my last trip, the bartenders could turn this bar into something special by giving back some island vibe, smiling more and playing some Caribbean music. I’ve seen this elsewhere and people tend to drink more and don’t want to leave when they feel welcome and experience a vibe. The bartenders, although do their jobs well, could just be much better. I also wasn’t told there would be an additional “resort fee” when I upgraded to a suite. When I brought this up with the manager I had to argue my case with him and he generously gave me a partial credit but not all. This should’ve been better explained when I upgraded. So don’t let any of this deter you from coming to the BEST resort in Aruba. The Hyatt Regency is well worth its price. Great, friendly staff, clean accommodations and a convienient location are it’s true assets! You know the old saying….if you want something really nice, it’s going to cost money. The Hyatt Regency lives up to its name and reputation. We can’t wait to return! *Pro tip: Take advantage of the breakfast package. It SO well worth it. The food was fresh and amazing every day! The staff was equally amazing at the Palms Restaurant where this is served. I hope they never get rid of this. It was simply incredible for our family of 6. Our daily server, Danilo and hostess Debbie were some of the BEST I’ve ever experienced! They should be commended for their friendliness, professionalism and incredible service!
