Oct 13, 2025Pros: Superb breakfast and valet service; Cons: boxspring mattress and hazed window
Great hotel. Breakfast was one of the best we had! We also loved the valet service for our rental. Only two cons: 1) Mattress was a boxspring so you could feel every move of your partner. Really didn't expect this kind of mattress in a 5* hotel. We've so far only had this kind of mattress in 3* hotels. 2) Our room window was very hazed, so we couldn't fully enjoy the views from 24th floor. I'm not sure though if the haze was on the outside or in between the glass layers.

My experience at the hotel was truly excellent. The staff was courteous, professional, and very attentive, providing outstanding customer service throughout my stay. The food was delicious, and I particularly appreciated the exceptional service during breakfast. I visited two of the hotel’s restaurants, and in both, the attention to detail and quality of the meals were remarkable. I felt comfortable and well cared for, just like at home. Overall, I had an excellent stay at the Riu Plaza Panama. Thank you for your hospitality.

Excellent Coustomer Satisfaction
Amazing service, I traveled here from Dallas Texas for my birthday! Everyone was nice and welcoming they kept making our beds nightly and surprised me with birthday dessert for breakfast and lunch!

My favorite Hotel
My husband and I enjoyed ourselves at hotel RIU. We had great service from the 1st day to the last. We will visit again

A great stay
I was impressed with the hotel, associates really professional and friendly, helping with anything. Room was comfortable with all amenities necessary, including a safe. Hotel has a fitness center a swimming pool with a bar and has a restaurant, convenience store, gift shop and a bar, with a variety of beverages and cocktails and more. Has a transfer service for you go anywhere in the city, has a 24 hour service for food. Really was a great choice. Around the hotel, you have a lot of options for your quick bite or lunch.
- Advisory*Important Information* Panama imposes various restrictions each year for Easter. They usually begin the Thursday prior to Good Friday and run a few days past Easter Sunday. The following regulations may be enforced: -Alcohol is restricted Thursday, midnight at 12:00 am to Saturday midnight at 12:00 am. -Music is banned in Discos and public places. ,(AI resorts get a permit enabling them to serve alcohol and play music within the resort)
