    Pura Vida at the base of Arenal!

    Gorgeous setting closest to Arenal with Pura Vida culture exemplified by all staff! Kudos to Melvin and Jeffrey amongst others for demonstrating true customer service. We loved the hot springs, the many birds, the tree frogs, and several excursions that the front desk helped us arrange. We’ll be back!

    Picture perfect resort.

    This is a gorgeous resort with spacious rooms that have floor to ceiling windows offering spectacular views of Arenal Volcano. The grounds are beautiful and the hot springs are amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and I highly recommend adding the breakfast.

    Best experience and would highly recommend!

    Stayed at the Arenal Kioro for 4 nights in August 2025. We had an exceptional experience at the resort. The view of the volcano from our room, the breakfast every morning, the hot springs on the property were all amazing. All our activities were easily accessible from the resort and the town was a short Uber ride away. If I had to call out 1 thing that was just above and beyond, it was the service from the staff - especially Melvin who made us feel special and welcome at every meal.

    Breathtaking views & total relaxation

    Kioro Suites offers some of the most stunning views of the Arenal Volcano — perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner at the onsite restaurant was great when we didn’t want to go into town. Special thanks to Melvin at the pool bar for his excellent service, and to Eli (“Elly”) for arranging a fantastic dinner at La Parada. Mornings with parrots and toucans in the trees made our stay unforgettable.
