Jan 27, 2026Recent Holiday Inn Stay- The Best!
When our flight was unexpectedly canceled due to the bombing in Venezuela, we were faced with a very stressful situation — especially traveling with our three little kids. The Holiday Inn team went above and beyond to help us. We were deeply touched that they not only let us keep our hotel rooms for an entire week (rooms next to each other with connecting doors, which was invaluable with young children), but also gave us a refund on the stay — even though we didn’t ultimately use the room. That generosity and understanding took a huge burden off our shoulders and made an incredibly difficult circumstance so much more manageable. We want to give special recognition and thanks to Julissa Kock, the manager on duty, for her professionalism, compassion, and personal attention to our situation. Her patience, empathy, and willingness to assist us in every way were truly remarkable. You made us feel supported, respected, and cared for — and that meant more than words can express. We also want to thank Kevin Anderson, the General Manager, for fostering a culture of outstanding guest service. It was clear in every interaction that your team reflects the highest standards of hospitality and genuine concern for your guests’ well-being. Thank you again for your help, kindness, and understanding. We will always remember your warmth and generosity, and we will highly recommend your hotel to our family, friends, and anyone traveling to Aruba.

Outstanding service, phenomenal staff!
Thank you, Holiday Inn aruba and Kevin Anderson for another outstanding stay. Your staff is the friendliest on the island and always there to help and assist.! I would like to send a few special, thank you for exceptional service. Yaris Rodriguez did a spectacular job cleaning my room every day! Pristine! Big recognition out to the Pool and Beach staff, Smitty, Jeffrey, Earl and Christian! They consistently over exceed expectations, providing best in class service with a smile and always there for any needs! Thank you to the entire staff at the Holiday Inn Aruba! Well Done Team! 10/10

Excellent place to stay
We had an excellent time at the Holiday Inn this past week. Atmosphere was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful. One who stood out was Loiuse at the pool bar. Excellent service, very friendly, remembered us after the first day, and always had a smile on her face for us. We went to have lunch and beverages there sitting in her area just so she could serve us. We are already planning our return in January 2027.

Great budget friendly hotel. A bit dated but great location! Joshua at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us! Sadly, the hammocks are gone and we wish there was complimentary coffee in the morning. Overall, decent.

Jan 22, 2026The only positive was the beach...
We just returned from a family vacation at the Holiday Inn and overall I have to say we were not impressed. Starting with the good, the food was amazing, the location is great and the fact that the pool and beach are so close to one another is amazing. For those going to this hotel that pay for all inclusive need to know that bottles and cans are not included so if you want water in your room you need to either bring it in a paper cup or fill a reusable bottle. Premium alcohol is not included and bars don’t open until 11. Most other hotels I have been to open at 10. Worst of all, you have to pay for a beach umbrella. After paying over $10k for a vacation this is insane to me. We had to call front desk two days in a row because they never left us any toilet paper or Kleenex in our room. On top of all of that our air conditioning was leaking. The rooms are quite outdated and the staff were very hit and miss. Some were so nice and some were just miserable and rude. We couldn’t even sit on our balcony without being eaten alive by mosquitos. They could at least spray the property like others do in Aruba. When we would go to our chairs in the morning, there were days when garbage from the previous day was still on the floor. All in all, after going to the Riu twice, we thought we would try something new. This wasn’t the right choice. We will definitely be returning the Riu hotel instead of the holiday inn.
