Mixed review for the Hilton Tulum
The resort is beautiful, quite a wow factor when you walk into the lobby. We had issues checking in, the room we booked was ground floor despite asking for a high room on booking. No alternative offered as fully booked but receptionist said for 1000 USD I can upgrade to an ocean view, so had no choice but to upgrade, sigh, the hotel was empty, so it was unclear to me why there was no other availability. Ocean view room beautiful view and room clean, TV didn't work, swiftly moved and upgraded to a suite, mini bar broke, bath plug broke, sigh, I did ask at reception do your staff not check the room before it's let, clearly not, please ensure your staff check the amenities in the room to avoid disappointment. Food , hit and miss, breakfast very good fresh and hot, the bar surprisingly good, restaurants a bit hit and miss, room service limited. Didn't watch the entertainment as no where to sit, very strange layout, most people sitting on the stairs, lack of seats. The staff make the place , they work hard and are friendly and accommodating. There is quite a lot to do here if you want, there isn't a beach and what little there is it is rocky so take water shoes. One last issue the seaweed is prevalent in this area, and they are clearing it from morning until night, it does smell but not as bad as the fumes from the trucks they bring down to clear the seaweed away, avoid casa 2 pool as it's mainly in that area.

Beautiful resort, excellent food, great service
Stayed 5 nights in the enclave section. Very clean and well maintained property. Excellent service! Enrique made sure all our requests were addressed. Noriku and La Luce were favorites. Street taco station a must. Unfortunately we had to visit the local hospital one day....trip was well organized, relatively quick and uneventful thankfully! Seaweed was abundant but they had a section cleared and groomed. Thoroughly enjoy our stay... Will be back again.

Relaxing vacation
I recently returned from Hilton Tulum and can't wait to go back. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly and our room was always clean. The staff at the coffee shop was excellent and incredibly friendly and knew me by the time I left. The food was very good and accommodating to my wife with food allergies. She usually gets sicks every time we go away due to cross contamination, but not here. There are so many pools to chose from, great drink options and even better staff. I will be returning hopefully sooner than later.

A week in paradise
I just returned home Saturday from Hilton Tulum. I’m not excited to be back to the weather here. I can’t say enough about the staff. The entertainment staff and all of the food service staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had most of my daily interactions with Eli and Nayeli. I feel blessed for having spent time with them and getting to know them. They are true gems. I have to give a shout out to the amazing Sofia and her lovely Yoga class and the assistance she provided me. Kevin from group fitness was a beast on the beach teaching those boot camp classes that I watched (haha). The nightly entertainment was super fun. They have really talented dancers and I loved the Michael Jackson show. Emilio has wonderful energy too! I have food intolerances and the dining staff was incredibly attentive to my needs. So attentive that when I thought I put a corn tortilla on my plate, two men came running over and told me not to eat it because it had gluten. My last night there the mentor (blanking on his name unfortunately) at the buffet had the chef make me a special dessert without dairy and gluten. The chef personally came out and served it to me. How amazing right!?! The hotel was beautiful, we had so many pools to choose from and despite the seaweed there was a beach for swimming. I’m a huge beach lover and live in a beach town and I didn’t mind the seaweed. I really enjoyed the quiet and tranquil vibe at the hotel. I’m always around noise back home so the quiet was incredibly welcomed! I can’t wait to go back!

Great Holiday!
Amazing Kids Club. Amazing staff all around the hotel. What a lovely bunch the Mexican people are and extremely hard working. Hotel was quite quiet for the size and food was really good. We all really enjoyed staying at the resort. Only real issue was when the Vela Sur restaurant was closed and didn’t reopen for the rest of our stay. I really enjoyed my breakfast/lunch there on my first two days.
