Dreams Curacao Resort Spa & Casino
Dreams Curacao Resort - what a disappointment! Hotel is out-dated and everything is worn out. I arrived to see a lobby with dirty worn out furniture....bad start. My room was not very clean. The furniture was old. Closet door handle was broken - the drawer handles barely moved and could not be shut. Room service was a joke. First time I ordered they cancelled my order after an hour because of a problem in the kitchen. Next time I tried I waited one hour 20 minutes to get cold food. Yuck. I did not order room service again. The pool area did not have enough chairs. First time I went there was no place to sit I had to go down to the pool at breakfast time to put a towel on a chair, even though I wasn't going to the pool until after lunch. The little gift shop was a joke. They were selling sunscreen, the same one you get in the US for $10 at $40. a bottle. The buffet was terrible. At dinner time they put out some of the stuff that was left over from lunch or from the day before. Breakfast was the only meal that was decent. They were supposed to have 3 sit down restaurants for dinner. Most days 1 or maybe 2 of the restaurants were closed and the only choice was the buffet. I have been to other Dreams Resorts and was impressed. This Dreams Resort leaves much to be desired. It is at best a 2 1/2 start resort. Save your money. Go elsewhere!!

Still loved Curacao but was disappointed in Dreams
View was gorgeous. Pool was fabulous. Food needs some work and also the resort itself is getting old an dneeds an upgrade.

Disappointing
The saddest example of a Dreams Resort we have seen in 10 years. Don’t waste your money here. Most Holiday Inns are nicer. The only redeeming thing was the location.

A Decent Vacation Experienc
A nice experience, however, I overheard someone at the beach state that this could be a 5 Star resort, if they just upgraded it. I tend to agree with that statement, although, I was not the originator of it! I felt like the Il Mare experience should have been a step above the Dreams experience, but it was pretty much the same. Had I known that I probably wouldn't have spent the extra $$$$

Dreams Curaçao was a Nightmare
This hotel is NOT a 5 star hotel. At most, it is a 1 star. The hotel is dirty and not maintained very well. Housekeeping services fell flat and staff overall are NOT friendly and quite often were rude. Mini fridge in room was filled daily. Entertainment needs to be revitalized. Bars only offer basic well drinks; most of which I’ve never heard of. Name brand liquor is available if you pay for the premium package. Be prepared to have them hound you to go on their “tour of the property” which is a high pressure sales pitch for their Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC). They offered the standard buffet options. Restaurants had great food but Italian restaurant had crappy service. Check in experience was horrible. There were no ‘welcome drinks’ and staff were extremely unfriendly and NOT helpful, especially at the welcome desk/front desk. Basic amenities (towels, shower gel, soap, toilet paper, tissues) were not provided on a regular basis and we had to make special requests for them on a continual basis. At one point I asked the woman at the front desk if she was getting tired of us making daily requests. Don’t waste your time or money at this hotel!
