Daniel and emmanual (our butlers for the week) were the best part of the stay. The food was excellent service top notch. Rooms need work, They are outdated and weird layouts. Also, I here s no direct access to the ocean. We prefer to hang out on the beach, listen to the waves. The just have lagoon access, bit disappointing. Pools are nice. Pretty big complex with 2 different lobbies.

Resort is awesome for families. Great waterpark and the ocean is perfect for the kids to swim because it has a wall that blocks the waves so they can swim safely. Especially love that lots of fish come up through the openings in the wall and are swimming around us so the kids could snorkel with them. Lots of fun activities for the kids as well - Crafts near the pool and blow up hamster type ball that they put on the water in the pool that they can go inside. Resort feels very safe and the staff are great. I want to make a big shout out to the Concierge and Security staff on the resort - Roberto, Luzbieth and Jair!! My husband lost a very expensive watch in the ocean and we were told by other hotel guests that they saw someone find it. We went to the lost and found but it didn't turn up. We put in a report with the concierge in hopes of it being found. Roberto at the concierge was absolutely incredible!!! He helped us write up a report for the security team, and then the security team had me show them exactly where we were during the time it was lost so they could try investigating it. Roberto even contacted me on my cell phone so he could keep us updated on the investigation daily. If I ever had questions or needed his help, he was super quick to reply and even came down to the beach right away after I messaged him one day with more information. Absolutely incredible service!! 3 days later we woke up to Roberto, Luzbieth, and Jair calling us to say they had good news for us. They found my husband's watch!!! We were extremely beyond grateful for their service and dedication to finding his watch. The fact that the resort went above and beyond like that is indicative of how great the service is and how safe they made you feel at the resort. 5 stars!!!

Dec 06, 2025Incredible Service and Food, but Room Needed Improvement
We just returned from our stay at the Hard Rock and overall we had a wonderful time. The food and service were outstanding. Every employee we interacted with was warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our vacation special. On our last morning, the buffet team even surprised us with a handwritten note and a goodbye dessert, which meant a lot to us. The only downside to our stay was the condition of our room in Building One. The room had a strong mold smell from the moment we arrived. The cloth lampshades had a musty odor, and we had to request that they be removed. We also needed a dehumidifier because our clothes felt damp just from being in the room. The staff was responsive when we asked for help, but the underlying smell and moisture issues affected the comfort of the room. If the rooms receive updates or deeper maintenance, this would easily be a five star experience based on the service, amenities, and overall atmosphere. We truly appreciate the staff, especially the buffet team at Faro Jessica, Marco, Elizabeth, Charly, Itan, and Paola, for making our last day extra special. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Very good experience, the staff is great! I lost my phone and it was found and returned within 12 hours, they even charged it for me as well!
