Great stay
I went to the hard rock hotel with my family and friends on the upgraded plan. It was an absolute blast! Despite being all inclusive the food was amazing, especially the steakhouse. Although the pool shut down early at like 7 every night it was still a fun time. We were assigned a butler as a part of the hard rock royalty package and it was a great experience. Ted Lima was ours and he helped us plan outings, decide on food, book reservations, and even helped bring in a music expert to the Hard Rock studio so me and my friends could play. Speaking of Oscar at the Hard Rock music room was amazing, he helped us record the song cigarette daydreams. It was a blast. Definitely would recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL RUIN YOUR VACATION!!!
Avoid at all costs! Horrendous check-in. Dirty/extremely crowded. I understand that this is a Hard Rock, but the noise level was out of control.Worst place we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot. Transfers were a joke. No air conditioning

PAID reviews everywhere. Actual traveler to this HOTEL would NOT recommend.
Worst Hard Rock hotels you would go ever!! 1. Check in took 1 hour 45 minutes - reason trying to sell me junior suite. 2. A/C does not work anywhere in the Hotel, they depend on good weather. Restaurants be ready to eat in 85F+ degree. Even Spa message rooms had 80+ temperature. 3. Most resorts considers your request of cuisine when you have party of 15+ and offers you some changes. Here there is no such customer service. 4. Zen - one of the restaurant treats you like 3rd world country people. One of my plate had too much salt and i sent back. They stirred it and sent right back in 4-5 minutes. I had to let manager there taste to prove my case. Miguel was manager/lead there and Fernando was the chef. 5. Does not provide airport transportation while most other resorts in Cabos does. add extra $200-$250.

Excelente
Chetan and Edson made our stay at Hard Rock Cabo absolutely seamless. They were incredibly attentive, professional, and thoughtful the entire time. From daily check-ins to arranging everything we needed, they went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and stress-free. We truly felt taken care of—thank you both for an unforgettable experience!

Do better Hard Rock
I left this resort feeling scammed. While it’s marketed as a luxury, all-inclusive experience, it falls short. Yes, the property is visually appealing, the rooms are clean, and the kids had fun at the pools. I guess at the core that is the most important. But that’s where the positives end. The dining situation was a nightmare for our larger group. If you have more than six people, expect 90+ minute wait times for dinner. The buffet was closed 3 out of our 7 nights, which made things worse. Lunch options are limited to just the pool area, the buffet, and one sit-down Mexican restaurant. Not what you’d expect from an “all-inclusive” resort. The so-called resort credits are a complete scam. You can’t use them for dining, shopping, or really anything practical. Only 30% of spa treatments could be paid with credits, which meant we were left with over $1,000 in unusable credits. It’s misleading and incredibly frustrating. Also, the location is inconvenient. If you want to explore downtown Cabo or visit the beaches, you’re basically forced to take expensive taxis, since Uber isn’t allowed on property. The resort clearly limits access to keep guests spending inside—but for a place that doesn’t deliver on service or dining, that’s not okay. Know before you go! You cannot swim off the coast there. You can visit the beach, but the pacific water is to dangerous. If you want a beach location book something closer to the marina in town. Bottom line: This is not a true all-inclusive. Between the dining delays, unusable credits, forced transportation, and hidden fees, we left feeling like this place is more focused on squeezing money out of guests than delivering a good experience.
