    Over priced - not worth the hype

    Disappointing Experience at Hard Rock Los Cabos – Not Worth the Hype or Price I recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, and unfortunately, it fell far below expectations—especially for the nearly $4,000 price tag. Room Quality The condition of our room was unacceptable. There were multiple maintenance issues: • Several missing light bulbs • A clogged sink • Cracked tiles • The light above the bed had to be taped shut or it would pop open and stay on all night • The sliding door to the patio was broken and held shut by a makeshift lock hook These are not minor inconveniences—they’re signs of serious neglect. Sunscreen Incident I bought a $35 sunscreen at the on-site shop that completely ruined two bathing suits by turning them yellow. When I asked for a refund, the store refused to take responsibility. I brought the issue to the concierge the next day and was just passed around without any resolution. Transportation Scam They charge $100 per person for transportation to and from the airport—which should absolutely be included. It feels like a money grab and sets the tone for what’s to come. Harassment Over “Resort Credit” When you arrive, you’re immediately swarmed by aggressive sales staff trying to push you into using your so-called “$200 daily resort credit.” What they don’t tell you is that: • You’re required to pay a 35% gratuity on any service booked • The service prices are massively inflated (e.g., $600 for a couples massage) They continued to harass me throughout the trip—even yelling my name through the lobby and messaging me on WhatsApp multiple times a day, despite me asking them to stop. Inaccurate Activity Info We missed out on multiple activities—like the fire show and the foam party—because the hotel’s app, website, and the iPad in the room all gave incorrect schedules. They promote using these digital tools to stay updated, but they failed to keep them accurate. Apparently, there’s a physical board on-site where the real schedule is posted—but no one told us that. Why would guests go hunting for a board when the hotel explicitly directs you to digital platforms that aren’t even updated? This was incredibly frustrating. Alcohol & Dining The drinks were extremely watered down—no one in our group felt even slightly buzzed the entire trip. As for the restaurants, you’re told that reservations aren’t needed, but then you end up waiting 30–45 minutes to be seated. The food was hit or miss, depending on the restaurant, though I want to highlight that the wait staff was phenomenal—they were the one bright spot in our stay. Kind, helpful, and professional. Misleading Marketing & Construction Nowhere during booking were we informed that parts of the resort were under construction. There was noise, dust, and restricted access to certain areas, which significantly impacted the experience. When paying premium prices, there should be full transparency. ⸻ Bottom Line: This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. For a resort that advertises luxury, the reality was far from it. The service (outside of the dining staff), the communication, and the lack of transparency made for a stressful vacation. I expected far better for what I paid, and I would not recommend this resort based on my experience

    10/10 Trip!!!!!!

    We had the best stay At Hard Rock Los Cabos! We previously went to the Punta Cana location but it was so huge and overwhelming. This location was the most perfect vacation we could've asked for. All staff was outstanding. We were served all day, all night. Our personal assistant was Salvador and we was beyond amazing. He would check up on our throughout the day, help us with reservations, ordering rides, and anything else we needed. Thank you so much Salvador for everything! 10/10 recommend this trip!

    Danny Blood and Dustin were excellent concierge during our stay at Hard Rock Cabo. They were very knowledgeable, attentive, always sending out information without us having to ask, and consistently checking up on our stay. We had a great stay.

    Hard Rock Rocks

    Rafeal Torres and Ted Lima were AMAZING! The best concierge staff EVER. They were very friendly, kept you up to date with things going on at the resort. They made reservations for all of the restaurants for us so that we don’t have to wait. I love it here!! We will be back. Toro was the best restaurant there. Cabo has my heart ❤️❤️
