Not bad
I understand people hate the Legendary sales staff. People fall for high pressure sales tactics and don't realize they can just get up and leave. I purchased a VIP tier because of the perks. Here is how it starts: You arrive and its a legendary staff person that cks u in. He is polite and asks about possible excursions. He offers discounts on stuff u like. Keep declining until u get max perks. U have to agree to see their salesperson, usually by the nxt day. He tells us about different teirs and member access. It's actually quite confusing. He is trying to figure out how which teir wks best for u. Finally, the finance guy. Tells u cost of teirs, prices r insane. He started with a 75k package w financing options. WTF. Turned him down 3x's and then, they sent in the final boss. He seems upset. Offers free stuff, but we turn him down. Sales staff r all cool, but the boss was a dick. Be aware that they will attempt to sell u stuff every time u check in at every hotel. For people with lots of $$$, this is a good option. Top teir status gets u everything, villas, golf, high end rental spots. Not all Hard Rock hotels are members and hotel groups are owned by different companies with different rules. Website is awful but yearly promotions are worth a look.

Legendary Vacation Club Experience Disappointing
Anyone can build a 5-star resort. The real difference is delivering a 5-star experience—and that’s where Hard Rock Los Cabos and/or Legendary Vacation Club comes up short. We had a good time overall, but we’ve had significantly better all-inclusive experiences elsewhere, especially at resorts where the guest experience—not upselling—comes first. Pros: * The wait staff and bartenders were excellent—friendly, attentive, and clearly working hard. * Entertainment was very fun and engaging, with a good variety throughout the stay. * Food quality was above average at some restaurants and solid at others. * Beautiful views, a clean resort, and well-maintained rooms. * Overall, the property itself is impressive and visually stunning. Cons * The hot tub was barely warm, which was disappointing. * Tipping culture felt awkward and intrusive for an all-inclusive resort. * The hostess stands lacked warmth and flexibility—not very personable or accommodating. * Long wait times for restaurants and services diminished the experience. * The resort felt more like a timeshare pitch than a luxury escape, with pressure to attend unwanted meetings. At resorts like Sandals, the product sells itself—no pressure required. And unfortunately, we’re afraid the next time we visit a resort like this, we’ll be pressured to look at the numbers and leaving us alone will be ignored or overlooked. * Breakfast options were repetitive, with little variation day to day. * The spa was clunky and uncomfortable, even to the point of putting my wife in the wrong room, and then the male host coming in after she got undressed. * Our room key deactivated halfway through the stay, which was inconvenient for room access and purchasing souvenirs. * Limited restaurant options, and some restaurants changed availability or concepts without notice, making planning difficult. Overall Impression Hard Rock Los Cabos has all the ingredients for a top-tier resort, but execution matters. When the experience feels transactional or pushy, it negatively affects customer lifetime value—guests may enjoy their stay, but they’re less likely to return or recommend it. We had a good trip—but given the price point and branding, we expected better. With more focus on guest experience consistency and less on sales pressure, this resort could truly live up to its 5-star potential.

Good vibes good service
Property is really nice. It’s big. There’s a lot of pools even in January enough for the pools were heated, and there was some very good service, including the concierge of Fernando and Daniel and the best waiter in the lobby area Jesús and Bar tender Verito

Great Place
We have stayed at many Hard Rock properties so know usually what to expect this hotel is beautiful but very out of the way. They are about 40 mins from town so it’s not just a quick walk to get to town they don’t allow uber to pick you up so you get hosed by the taxi $50/$70 usd per trip of 4 ppl. Bellboys were amazing as usual treated us and helped us every time we needed them really a great group of guys. The food as usual is one of the best chains for food excellent food and really mixed it up daily. Pools were a big problem we are legendary so we could use another “members pool” but if you beat the butlers out that are reserving spots for other members they kick you out and you will have no where to sit. So we moved to the main pool the next day and twice they tried to kick us out after the pool concierge (A) said this was not allowed but now he needed the seats. I would never return here bc we watched them kick ppl of there saved chairs for members. I travelled under a member’s account and was so annoyed by this. I told them to call security bc I wasnt moving. Not enough chairs for people and the beach has very few chairs nice beach but very long to walk to water and you can’t go in the water here at all. The service at the pool was impeccable JP was running daily super great guy and the service was top notch. Watch for the railings going into the pool we watched 3 ladies fall very hard on them thought they were knocked out cold. The beds are very very hard I was thrilled to sleep in my own when we got home probably the hardest beds I have slept on and very hard full pillows bathtub is on the deck which is odd but i guess works don’t pay for a partial ocean view the way the hotel is set up you barely see anything from the sides so it’s not worth it. Main buffett was busy but never waited more than 5 mins they really had the restaurants pumping fast the à la cartes were very good steak house was great as well as Italian. The Tempeyaka cook in front of you was not great beef is very tough and they now cheaped out and have to buy your seafood to add. Everything is more $ don’t waste your time here terrible meat and no shrimp anymore or octopus. We were hear for New Years and wow did they put on a show very impressed the ppl were amazing set up on the beach loads and loads of food was spectacular, so if you don’t leave the hotel area this is a great place if you like to explore it’s to far away amazing staff fabulous food only problem is the pool situation and the conceige. This is not how you want to start your every morning! Whale watching right now is phenomenal as well

Great time in Cabo!
We had a great time at the Hardrock in Cabo! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My absolute favorite was the Mexican coffee! Jesus and his lobby friends did a great job keeping us entertained as we enjoyed the live music and DJ. My favorite restaurant served the freshly made sushi and Habachi. Chris did an awesome at keeping our drinks full at the pool and we loved the foam pool party! Our room was beautiful and very clean. Thanks for a wonderful time!
