  Best Butlers in the World

  Chetan and Edson our butlers did an amazing job as always. Over the years we have come to love them and think of them as family. The food is awesome as always and the wait staff did amazing also. The New Year’s party was amazing also.

  Outstanding Staff Made This a True Five Star Stay

  The staff is truly the key to this five star review, starting with our butlers, Oscar and Lety. They were outstanding in every aspect. Their prompt responses, patience, proactivity, and communication were absolutely top notch. They made our entire week very smooth, from arrival to greeting us as we departed. They are a major reason we would book our next holiday here again. Oscar, in particular, is genuinely the best butler we’ve experienced across all the properties we’ve visited. Ana from Guest Services was also very nice and funny. While we were waiting for check-in at the Hall of Fame area, she gave the girls lots of great tips about food and excursions. She invited us to attend the Legendary presentation, and despite some concerns based on things we had read online, Ana and the Legendary team Luisa, Oscar, and Nelkys were not pushy at all. They were very respectful of the 90 minute commitment and honored the vouchers promised at the end. It was a smooth and pleasant experience, even though we chose not to buy. We really liked the hotel’s vibe. It’s not a huge resort, which we actually prefer it has a cozy feeling. The property is very clean and relatively new, which adds to its value. The amenities are nice, and whenever we asked a staff member for directions, they would insist on walking us to the location rather than just pointing left or right, which was a very nice touch. The spa is awesome. We all did the rituals (the Romantic one is amazing) with Abdi, Karen, Patricia, and Schonoto, and they all did a great job. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for another round of massages. Highly recommended are the hot stone and aromatherapy massages. The girls tried many salon services and were very happy with Aidee, Emi, Esbe, and Alicia. We also truly appreciated the spa reception staff, Roberto and Rey, for their patience especially Roberto. He was extremely patient and cooperative when scheduling multiple treatments and coordinating timings for our family, always finding suitable solutions for all of us. The Legendary pool boys, Aaron and Angel, were always ready with towels and tables, greeting us by name and checking on us. The Legendary pool waiters were also very good. All the restaurant waiters were great, especially JC at Umo, which is by the way our favorite restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is best at Ciao definitely less crowded. The anchovies pizza at the beach is very good. The bellman, Cruz, was also a very helpful young man. The tacos and tuna tartare at Los Gallos were excellent, the flank and ribeye cuts at Toro were very good, and the sushi at Zen was nice for an all-inclusive. The Umo menu overall is very strong, especially the Brazilian steak tacos and the octopus dishes. All the food and ingredients were very fresh, particularly the fish and seafood. I woke up very early a couple of times and watched from the balcony as the staff quietly cleaned all the outdoor areas, very impressive. One minor point: the sound system testing for the outdoor Christmas party was very loud, repetitive, and had awkward frequencies. It also lasted quite a long time, especially since our room was close to the Legendary pool. All in all, this hotel is highly recommended. Bravo!

  Horrible manager denisse

  This hotel has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life ? The manager Denisse Canche is beyond so rude . They messed up on my reservation with a bed for my disabled son and she told me too bad I’m not helping you. What kind of hotel is this?! What kind of people are these ?! Not human not right .

  Calm environment and not chaotic

  We stayed at Hard Rock as a couple and loved it. The staff was genuinely friendly and the place is in great shape. Even in December the vibe felt calm and not chaotic, which was perfect for us. I proposed to my girlfriend on this trip, so it’ll always be a special memory. Would gladly come back. 5 estrellas

  Our vacation and service was top notch

  We had an awesome time and the food was good. The sunsets views are amazing and one of the most relaxing places that we have been. For the past 6 years we have traveled to different Hard Rock locations. The rooms are very clean and comfortable which makes any vacation enjoyable. The service from the staff is excellent, probably the best we’ve ever had!!
