Had a fabulous stay at Hard Rock Cancun. The pool is beautiful overlooking the ocean. Food was also delicious. I would like to give a shout out to Roberto and Victor our butlers and Our pool server Irma. They made our trip extra special.

If I could give this review less than 1 star I would. DEFINITELY NOT a 5 star resort, more like 3.5-4 star. Wayyy better and more accommodating resorts in Cancun. 1. First of all- the beach is terrible. There is minimal effort put into cleaning seaweed and the chairs are so old and uncomfortable. The service at the beach is basically non existent. 2. NOT dog friendly. Do not book if you are looking for dog friendly resort. SLS Playa Mujeres is the most dog friendly resort in Cancun we have been to. I travelled with a small 3 kg dog, and the restricted areas of where dogs are allowed make no sense. He is allowed to walk through certain areas but he cannot sit in those areas. The pool area they let him sit is at the very end of the resort. If you’re even holding the dog (not touching anything around the resort) in an area that isn’t “allowed”, including 4 rows back from the pool, they immediately scold you. I had a lengthy discussion with the manager about the policy and it truly makes no sense. Let alone someone with a service dog. Definitely DO NOT pick this resort with a dog. 3. Insufficient staff for population, and that’s considering it wasn’t even busy season when we went. 4. Resort grounds are super outdated, hotel rooms awful. My sheets had stains on them day one. Overall summary- 5 stars? Absolutely not. This hotel lacks service, aesthetic, awful beach, terrible customer service and most definitely lacks common sense. I will not be returning and I caution anyone prior to booking this hotel as it is definitely not worth the price.

Family vacation
Hotel was good… food and drinks even better and we got the best Butlers that took care of everything for us … special thanks to Roberto and Victor you guys have done a phenomenal job

Hard Rock Cancun outstanding service
We had an amazing time as always this was our 2nd visit to HRC. Hector /Jessy were our butlers. There were fantastic. Carlos /Francisco greeted us everyday at breakfast at Frida. Edguardo Ciao was superb. The staff here is definitely top notch. We’ve been to All Hard Rock locations and Unico 20 87. We always have a wonderful time. The views of the ocean are unmatched.

Hard Rock is not a good hotel
We came thinking it was to be fun and exiting found out it was all the opposite. As soon as you come in you get attacked by time share and lied about the credit in the room. As they offer. Avoid this place and save your money and trust me. This place is not fun
