Dani Birthday Trip
This was one of the best trips to Hardrock that we have Experienced! Our Butler’s Gerlyn and Algelis Made this one of the best hard rock vacations that we have ever experienced in Danielle’s birthday the best it could’ve ever been!! Our beach waitress Fennis and her helper in the picture were Wonderful we could not have been taking better care of every day in the Bali beds!! As all of the hard rock resort management should be proud that you have put these people in the right places to take care of us as members! We cannot wait To return to one of our favorite hard rock resort’s when all of this hardship passes in our country and yours! You all stay safe and prayers for everyone and see you soon. The hamlets
Worst holiday ever
We stayed here for 2 weeks and was placed in a room near the casino so a little disturbance some nights nothing major. Food is shocking just cheap options served on a plate ... they think bbq sauce is gravy so dont order anything with bbq sauce. Every restaurant very poor. STAFF absolutely lazy rude and liars. Asked for water at reception one day and she said they didnt have any and walked away... (I remember years ago walking into reception and being given a glass of champayne).. waitress making a cocktail and watering down with bottled water... very odd.... 5 staff behind the counter at the cafe near the casino none serving. Bars its obvious none of the female staff are allowed to serve. Most staff extremely rude and constant blaggers/liars. Must be in their nature. (It never use to be like this 5 years ago) everything for kids to do is NOT INCLUDED ie mini golf bowling arcade etc so basically nothing at the resort for kids. There is no drinks in the bedroom (not one) you have to ask for them and then get supplied with the cheapest vodka etc in small bottle. Use to have mini bars in the Room .. I dont think our sheets were ever changed for 2 weeks.. just bed made top part of floor moped bottom part never touched.. pools you'll never get a bed past 10am..dont bother ..beach beds filthy. Shops stupidly expensive... casino nice but all slots small wins theres no real chance to win anything of value....got talked into a timeshare type talk but I wouldnt do it as theres no way I'd invest money in that place...all in all dont bother with the place you'll waste 10k like we did. Never again will we visit dominican such a shame. It's the staff working there that the management really need to look at. AVOID THIS HOTEL PLENTY BETTER IN THE SAME AREA THIS IS A LOWER CLASS RUN DOWN HOTEL NOW
One of the worst hospitality experience ever.
Coming from Florida, This had to be one of the worst experience my family & i had. We stayed at the hard rock in Mexico, Rivera Maya and nothing compared to this. Our stayed was 6 days and every day felt like we were being punished.This property lack in training staff & core value.From the moment we checked in to our check out time nothing was ever done to accommodate our needs. We went for my wife 27th Birthday, called to make arrangement and nothing was given, pool staff question my wife why she refused to speak spanish in their country.breakfast staff were more focus on what their colleague then serving guest, the service was horrible considering if they didnt US dollars on the table.Wish i could go back in time and get my money back & most important our time.Last but not least everyday we found bugs in our bathroom.our hot tub had a leak that wasn't fixed till the last day.DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU DONT MIND HORRIBLE SERVICE & DISCRIMINATION
This is our second trip to this destination, it is amazing. The trip got off a bit slowly until we met our concierge (friend) Isiais, he quickly adapted to my style with high communication. He set up nearly everything, spa, dinners, Bali beds, you name it, he's great. Our days by the pool were enhanced by meeting Gladys, get a Bali Bed at least one day and request Gladys, my wife and she became fast friends, needless to say we had fun. Finally, get to the beach bar, hang out with Hector and Sandro, they are hysterical and taught us all we need to know to understand if someone is dancing merigue, bachata, or salsa. After the COVID 19 crap blows over I'd return. We were there for the LIVE concert and the combination of the band and the venue were perfect, I can hardly imagine the upcoming Guns and Roses concert in that venue.
We luckily got out of the country!! The staff was ok - could have given us important information. We were just disappointed that most things closed without ANY warning. We had wanted to buy souvenirs but were unable to. Our excursions and restaurant reservations were also canceled. They shut the casino and the night shows - very disappointing. I tried to make reservations to use the spa... guess what? CLOSED. The staff did not inform us that any of this would be happening. We had to learn about it through other guests. We did not get to use the majority of our resort credits. People are unable to swim in the ocean - rip tides were too strong. Overall, this trip left a sour taste in my mouth. I’m thankful I signed up for the STEP program through the US State Department, otherwise we wouldn’t have found out ANY important information. I would not recommend this resort - very disappointing for treatment and the cost.
