An Amazing Cancun Experience
One of the reasons we chose Grand Velas Riviera Maya is because of its renown Baby Concierge program. We were travelling with a 11.5 month old (for the first time out of the country), and knew there were many things we needed to consider and prepare for. The Baby Concierge program made it that much easier as many things were provided to us. A full size baby crib, high chair in the room, bottle sterilizer, bottle warmer, full size stroller, bath towel and toys, baby bath tub, and my personal favourite -- custom puree made to order for baby at mealtime. This took alot of the anxiety out of travelling with a little one. Onto everything else... Rooms were super clean and equipped with Molton Brown toiletries (very nice!), rooms are also very spacious. We had an amazing view of the ocean from our Grand Class Room on the 4th floor. The pools were great! Very clean and not crowded. Lots of chairs and umbrellas, no need to play games. There are floaties provided in the shallow/kiddie pool area - but it's first come first serve. Since we went during low season, we were literally the only ones in the pool. Food was amazing in the restaurants. Suite service food is actually quite good as well. They have an extensive suite service menu that is provided 24 hours. So you can order all the food and healthy juices to your hearts content! All the staff were spectacular. Very friendly, very accommodating. They don't like to provide "no" as an answer, they will try their best to fulfill my requests.. and then go the extra mile as well. They are very knowledgeable of who you are. At every mealtime, they are aware that we requested "no honey" in my baby's food. And if I ordered honey (because I drink honey + hot water myself), they will point out the food allergy. Which shows that they have a high attention to detail. Lastly, the cherry on top of everything -- personal concierge. We were not aware that personal concierge was provided, but to our delight, we had two! Guillermo in the AMs, and Gilberto in the PMs. We were added in a WhatsApp chat with them two, and any questions or any assistance we needed, we just texted them in the group chat and they will respond and assist right away. This was luxury on top of luxury! They were very kind, polite, and greeted us every time they saw us on the resort. They would even think ahead of time what we needed and get it done for us. We were very well taken care of, and very grateful that Grand Velas has this service. Personal thank you's to Guillermo and Gilberto :) As a side note -- we went during the low season, so there were parts of the resort that were closed for renovation and repairs. The spa, Ambassador, certain restaurants were closed. For us, we didn't really mind. But I can see how others that come for the Spa may find that disappointing. To get the full experience of everything that this resort has to offer, I would recommend going during the high season.

Amazing and Delicious Experience
Beautiful and luxurious, our stay was truly amazing. The staff were attentive and, as is so often the case in Mexico, everyone was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. The food was excellent — buffets could feel a little repetitive, but the quality was consistently high, so it never felt like a chore. The à la carte restaurants were outstanding; the Italian and especially the French left us amazed by the quality and presentation. The hotel offers a variety of activities — we tried painting and honey tasting, both of which were unique and fun. In terms of age groups, we felt the resort is best suited for adults and younger kids. Our children (9–11) were in that in-between stage — not quite teens, not little ones — so while they enjoyed themselves and made friends, the activities available for their age group were more limited. Practical tip: bring floating toys if you’re traveling with kids, but otherwise the resort provides plenty — from volleyball and soccer to beach sand toys. - we stayed at the main hotel, rooms were large and clean - reach out to the concierge and book restaurants ahead of time, ask for schedules, at least two weeks in advance We left with wonderful memories and will definitely choose another Grand Velas in the future.

AMAZING - YOU HAVE TO GO!
INCREDIBLE!!!! I had to take the time to stop and write a review for this amazing hotel and the experience we had. I originally had a complication with our reservation and they went above and beyond to fix the issue. Our stay was beyond our wildest expectations. The entire staff at this hotel does everything and anything to make sure you are completely taken care of and have no concerns or worries. We brought our two kids (ages 8 and 5) and the welcome for them alone on the first day was out of this world. A tent set up in the room, new stuffed animals to welcome them. They had a bubble bath made in the room for when we returned from the pool. My daughter loved the kids club and even had dinner with them one night. My son had fun at the kids club but we also used their nanny service one night for a dinner and she was outstanding and I felt completely comfortable. Our concierge, Carolina and Aaron basically became our family. As soon as we woke up, they were messaging us to check in and share activities for the day. I am now home and still messaging them to say hi! That's how amazing they are, not only as concierge staff, but as people. Pastor Guerrero, the Operations Manager also checked in with us to make sure that we were good. There aren't enough words to say how grateful I am to this hotel and everyone there for the experience and vacation they gave our family. It was so relaxing. They work so hard to keep the beach as clean as possible. There is a lovely spot where the water is perfect and the kids could just walk right in because it's calm and shallow. AND THE FOOD! That might have been our favorite part. Every single restaurant, the food is like fine dining and out of this world. It was hard to choose a favorite. We loved Lucca so much that we even got a picture with the entire staff on our last night, haha! Even the room service food was so delicious. And if you go, you have to visit the spa at least once. It is the most gorgeous spa I have ever been in. And the water treatment prior to your service is an incredible experience that's a must. This is a long review, but there are so many incredible things to mention and I wish I could list every persons name that we met because truly everyone was so kind and attentive. It is definitely a hard place to leave. We also celebrated a birthday and anniversary there, and again, they went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. We will never forget this trip and the people at this hotel. Thank you!! xxx

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Amazing Family Vacation
Grand Velas truly exceeded our expectations! We wanted a place where our 5-year-old could have fun while we relaxed, and this resort delivered everything and more. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and the way they made our little one feel so special was unforgettable. Special thanks to: • Ricardo Flores & Ricardo Arenas – Our incredible butlers who planned every detail and made sure we had the perfect stay. • Domingo at the Ambassador Pool – Went above and beyond, even surprising our daughter with her own private cabana! • The Kids Club Team – AMAZING! Our little one loved yoga, face painting, pajama parties, and so many fun activities every day. • Nicolás – His bike tour was a highlight! His knowledge of the resort and Mayan history made the experience unforgettable. Thanks to everyone at Grand Velas for giving us the most magical family vacation and making our daughter’s birthday so memorable. We can’t wait to be back next year! 🌴✨
