Overall this was a nice/average hotel. Food was as to be expected though the options for room service were very minimal after breakfast hours and only being allowed to order 1x per day was frustrating since what we received wasn't exactly what we expected. I wouldn't consider the "mini bar" in the room a bar, it contained 2 beers and soda options. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this isn't the stay for you. We did like the hours of service for meals and bars. Pools were a bit cold, and adult pool had no music which we found strange. The adult pool area was more of an old crowd vibe than general adult vacation vibe.

Great time…Needs improvement
Hotel in general is in ok condition. Almost all of the walkways are made of very uneven rocks and you always have to be very careful and watch your step. Not an easy task with the all inclusive alcohol!! We were in tower 2 and there are only 2 elevators for guests and they were very very small. We were on the 3rd floor and only used the elevators the first day and the last day to bring down our luggage. The food was very hit or miss. The same 2 lunch and dinner options in the Italian and Mexican restaurants. The buffet had different themes most nights but again the food was hit or miss. On the first night we had an issue with our door lock… I called the front desk and they sent someone up within a few minutes and while he didn’t fix the issue he showed me that if you push the handle up instead of down it worked fine. The water pressure was amazing and plenty of hot water but the handle was loose and a bit difficult to adjust. I didn’t complain about it though. The adult pool area was awesome with the infinity pool and swim up bar. None of the hot tubs on the property worked and we were told they hadn’t worked in months. There always seemed to be enough chairs in the pool areas while not necessarily in the shade. The resort is directly in front of the southern cruise ship terminal and all day you are staring at cruise ships and we didn’t get to see any sunsets. The staff was very very friendly and courteous. They need more nightlife and places for friends to gather. We were a group of 8 and couldn’t find a decent place to play cards. The members only room which was nice closed at 8:30 and the whole resort was shut down at midnight. They have a board that tells you the goings on around the resort but for the night time activities it never said when or where it was happening. Overall a good experience but we would probably not return there. We did like that there was a dive center on property which gave free demos in their lagoon which was awesome because now one of our friends who never dove before now has and loved it. Shout out to Elite Diving and Carolina was an awesome trainer and divemaster.

Review of park royal
The hotel is in a good location. Snorkelling is really good. The food is hit and miss. Breakfast really good. Lunch not great. The snack bar by the one pool is good, ate there most days. Dinner was also hit and miss. I think only 2 days we had stuff we really enjoyed.

It was a very nice stay. Ice is hard to come by but understandable. I would definitely recommend. I don't feel like I was given all of the "necessary" information at check in and check out, but learned through others. I would come back without a doubt!

Feb 16, 2026My favorite resort to vacation
Our 3rd time here and i still love it. Only downfall was that they did away with the Seafood restaurant and now only have the Mexican and the Italian restaurant. We always have a good time here. The property is clean and the staff are amaizing. Everyone greets you as you walk by. The entertainment staff Danny and Edger were super friendly to my son Jordan and his girlfriend Kalei....They made paticipating in the activities fun for them
