We stayed in the villas and the view was absolutely amazing. Our butler Jessica was the best, helping us with anything we needed. I will say going with the villas or adults only section of the hotel is the ONLY way to go if you are going without kiddos. The Bali bed and dinner reservations made everything run so smooth every day and let us truly enjoy the vacation. Ignacio was our favorite bartender in the lobby bar. The food wasn’t great but was edible. We ate the ice cream multiple times a day however it was yummy! The hibachi restaurant was our favorite. We went for my son’s graduation trip and while we had fun it probably wasn’t the best vibe for an 18 year old. I would go back maybe when the beach is better for swimming, June is not it. Good value for the price.

in general the hotel it was so so in the adult pool was horrible service the waitress are very bad ....specialty lady name fanny we ask her for food service and she never bring it to us very bad adults pools bad service and the other was a bartender I forget he's name too bad service the restaurants' was not good but not bad i can say it was ok. the service people need to be more kindness in my opinion the hotel is nice food is ok

Beautiful Resort, Poor Service and Communication
I stayed at Grand Park Royal Cancún with my kids after saving for months as a single mom hoping to enjoy a special summer trip. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet some expectations. We paid extra to choose our room in advance, only to be told weeks later it was unavailable. Emails to the resort before arrival went unanswered. After a red-eye flight, we waited nearly an hour for a car that was too small despite advance notice. At check-in, our room wasn’t ready, and we were misled into attending what was framed as a welcome breakfast but turned out to be a timeshare pitch. Our room had a broken bed and a cockroach. When I reported it, I was told it was “normal for the area.” The ATM was out of service for over a day, and when I tried to break bills to tip staff, I was sent in circles with no help. Esmeralda, our housekeeper, and Julio, our buffet server, were wonderful and made us feel welcome, true standouts in an otherwise frustrating stay. Dining service was inconsistent. We were ignored at the buffet multiple times, and at the Teppanyaki restaurant, food arrived before drink orders were even taken. One day we rushed to the snack bar before an excursion, only to find it wasn’t open at its posted time. On departure day, our transport was late due to a location mix-up, even after I had messaged in advance about a delay. Dress code rules weren’t explained at check-in, which caused issues when we tried to eat in casual wear right after arriving. The resort has potential, but communication and service are far from “luxury.” I hope they make real improvements. Guests, especially families spending hard-earned money, deserve better.
