We stayed in a villa and it was perfect. Our butler made sure we experienced all the resort had to offer and more. Everyone in staff always had a smile in their face and made us all feel at home. Excellent location with lots of variety. I would definitely recommend!

This is a very nice resort that could be even better if they would improve the food. During my week the resort was pretty quiet, I would say this is not a party resort if that's what you're looking for. We upgraded to a Royal Master Ocean Front room in the adults only Royal Tower. I would highly recommend this upgrade. The room was fantastic. I've stayed in rooms costing twice as much that weren't as nice. Very large and modern. The room includes a butler and Bali bed on the beach or adult pool. The Bali bed alone is worth more than the cost of the upgrade. The room location is great. Right next to the adult pool and a short walk to the restaurants. The room is very quiet; I didn't hear a sound all week. We had multiple frozen drinks, and they were all excellent. Maybe not the strongest I ever had, but they tasted good. The only weakness for me was the food. Breakfast was the best meal. Even then, many of the items on the buffet were room temperature at best. At dinner we had a couple of pieces of fish on several occasions that weren't thoroughly cooked. We had tacos one night at the Mexican restaurant and the meat was so grisly it was inedible. Our best meals were at the ala cart Asian restaurant. This is the only place where the chef came around asking people how their food was. This is a nice touch, and the other restaurants should do the same. The restaurant manager at this resort needs to step up as this is what's keeping the resort from being a top tier resort.

The best people I’ve ever met were the staff at this resort!
Immediately felt like a king and queen, this was my first time to mexico and it was for our honeymoon. Everyone was extremely amazing except two people really stood out. The first one was the guy who checked us in at the front desk. He was exceptional! The second one was the last waitress we had on our last day before leaving. Her name was ernestna and we took a picture with her, she went above and beyond when she didn’t have to. She was amazing and so sweet and had a wonderful and funny personality. If I could request her every day I was there I would have paid extra lol! We made sure to tip her very well! She got us drinks, food, talked with us, she stayed on it! Yall need to give her a raise!

Amazing staff and a remarkable family stay!
I have nothing but great things to say about my recent trip with family to this amazing place. From the moment we arrived till our very last day, my family and I were truly taken care of by all staff members we encountered. We were so happy to have our butler Alex make our trip a very memorable one. He truly went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated in every way possible. And we were also very lucky to have met Hector, our adult poolside and beach waiter, who made our pool and beach experience an amazing one. He was always on top of our food and drink orders, and catered to us in royal fashion. The premier oceanfront rooms have a stunning view of the ocean and loved the fact that we were able to enjoy it from our balcony area. My family and I can’t wait to come back do it all over again. Thank you again for a remarkable vacation!

Grand park royal was not my ideal luxury. I expected way more being that I reviewed online before making a decision. Moral is this place need major room upgrades and maintenance. Staff was very nice and friendly but please renovate.
