Hand Foot & Mouth Disease November 2025
We stayed at Grand Palladium Vallarta October 28, 2025 to November 4, 2025 and our children contracted hand foot and mouth disease. Staff were notified immediately but unsure if any sanitizing protocols were put in place. We were told our children were only allowed 1 straw per day for their drinks and were not allowed to use their pool floaties in the deeper pool with us, but other children were allowed.

Worst stay of my life
Absolutely do not stay here. The food is disgusting. The staff are rude. There’s no air flow. It was the biggest waste of money. I can’t say a single positive thing about this place.

Ehh overall.
We chose this hotel because we felt it was accessible for everyone in our party. Upon arrival, two of our guests paid for ocean view and received garden view “because it was based on availability “ when we asked for that refund since both rooms have a price difference they refused. During the second day of our stay, someone in our party fell down the stairs next to poolside, she suffered a sprain with swollen knee and ankle. The staff did nothing to accommodate her even though those stairs had NO handrails when it clearly becomes slippery. We requested a wheelchair and they wanted to charge us. The gentleman at the front desk stated “this happens very often and I promise they won’t make an exception to give a free wheelchair.” Was very disappointed after that because we felt that they clearly did not care to accommodate someone who was clearly injured. We felt that the price for the hotel did not match the service we received. Food was ok, although for one of our reservations at “las terrazas we were seated two hours later and fed “raw” meat. When we explained our issue we were told they were trying to feed us as quick due to the delay. It is a great hotel overall but customer service needs to be worked on. We will unfortunately not return because of this experience.

Would not return
Stayed here for a week for my cousins wedding. Rooms were musty smelling and sheets felt damp as the AC couldn’t keep up. Not many activities besides the pool or beach during the daytime. Food was not good and often cold. Restaurants were hard to book a reservation at. Had the groomsman dinner at the Italian restaurant, they picked the menu for us. Nobody liked either option served. We didn’t get pasta at an Italian restaurant. Also, the other wedding guests had dinner at the international restaurant while we did groomsman dinner. My boyfriend, who is black, was blatantly ignored 3 times by the waiter despite being told by others at the table that he needed to order. Eventually he walked out of the restaurant without being served. We ended up ordering room service for him, which we had to pay for. And got charged an additional $3 for a soda to be brought to the room. The day of the wedding, we were denied room service to the room for the bridesmaids getting ready. The staff was very friendly though. Would not return and would not recommend this resort to others.
