Punta Cana
Our trip and our experience at Grand Palladium in Punta Cana was absolutely amazing. From the perfect beaches to the amazing hotel room and the friendly staff. It all made our week there one of the most incredible experiences! Highly recommended

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
A Complete Nightmare – Safety Issues, Floods, and Medical Risks I have never experienced a resort stay as stressful, unsafe, and poorly managed as this one. Our vacation was completely ruined by a total lack of maintenance, terrible service, and unacceptable room conditions. The Room Disasters (3 Room Changes) • Room 1: We originally booked two queen beds but were given a single king. Check-in took incredibly long, forcing families with young children and babies to wait endlessly for rooms that weren’t even ready. When I asked for a room with a walk-in shower due to my accessibility needs, front desk staff lied and claimed they had none. Instead, we were stuck with an unsafe tub that was extremely difficult and hazardous for me to get into. Also for 15 month old • Room 2: The AC barely functioned, the closet broke immediately, and only a single electrical outlet worked in the entire room. When we complained, we were promised a potential free upgrade, but management completely ghosted us. To top it all off, the room completely flooded late in the evening. We were forced to pack up and move yet again, which was deeply stressful and inconvenient with a 15-month-old baby. On top of that, the crib they finally delivered late at night wasn't even usable and was completely unsafe for a baby to sleep in. • Room 3: This room was filthy and completely neglected. We found someone else's fingernail inside the fridge and old food left on the floor for days that housekeeping never cleaned. Worse, the fridge leaked and would not get cold. Because of this, we couldn't keep milk for the baby, and my essential medication spoiled and went bad. We even found a cockroach roaming the room. Abysmal Service and Resort Management The staff throughout the resort were incredibly rude and unhelpful. There was a glaring double standard in service; English-speaking guests were blatantly ignored and forced to wait much longer while staff exclusively catered to Spanish-speaking guests. Furthermore, the resort ran out of bottled water entirely—a basic necessity. Despite the resort website explicitly stating that large groups can reserve dinners, they refused to let us book any reservations, which made absolutely no sense given that we were down here as a large group for a wedding. Final Verdict This resort is a safety hazard, a logistical mess, and entirely inaccessible for guests with mobility needs. Between the roaches, the floods, the unsafe baby equipment, the spoiled medication, and the hostile service, I would strongly warn anyone—especially families and travelers with disabilities—to stay far away from this place.
