  Wonderful birthday trip!

  We splurged for the swim-up beachfront Villa 40 and it was SO worth it. We had the most amazing view and just hopped from our pool to beach anytime we wanted. It was also really nice having the room just a few steps from where we were relaxing on the beach. Our son only wanted to beach it, so we didn't travel to the pools but they were beautiful. We snorkeled everyday and our son dove for shells. The beach beds are great, but you have to pay about $40 USD for them so we only did that on the last day. We should have just budgeted for it though because it was much more comfy than the beach chairs. The beach waitress was great and even would check on us if we were in our pool. It was also our sons birthday and they decorated our room with cute balloons and a little dessert cake for him. The room was nice. No issues. Beverages and snacks refilled daily. Drinks were great. Food was okay. It was not the best we've had and we are not really picky when it comes to a la cartes but the quality was lower than we were used to at other resorts. Not bad by any means, just not as high end. Room service was good as well. The Nest buffet was wonderful. We had breakfast there several days and had dinner there one night. Our son enjoyed the kids area there and the candy wall. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only time we had an issue was on the day of our excursion. The night butler was supposed to schedule a box breakfast and pickup for us at 6am to carry us to the lobby since it's a bit of trek and neither came. We hoofed to the lobby just in time for our pickup from the tour company. It was a minor inconvenience and we didn't mention it to the hotel. We went to the Bravo show. We got free tickets when we upgraded our room. It was cool, not as grand as the ad makes it look. I do not think we would have paid to see it. Fun experience though. The grounds and lobbies are gorgeous. Lots of wildlife. We all really enjoyed it. I'd visit again for sure.

  Very Happy!

  I had the best time! Hotel staff and service were perfect. The beach and pools were very welcoming and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone, which I will be doing. The nighttime entertainment was spot on. Could not have been happier. Any questions we would have would be promptly answered very respectfully. Cheers to another great time at Grand Palladium

  Fun, fiestas, and first aid…

  Clean, beautiful lots of places to explore. Fun and friendly staff. Drinks were far from watered down and always close at hand. Food was always available and varied for different tastes. Jorge at the swim up bar is quiet but a solid guy, gave a bit of a tequila, mezcal, repesado tasting which I didn’t expect but certainly appreciated. Had fun drinks for all the kids. At the family select side Alejandro was on point with the bevies and waters and had us equipped with every request. Unfortunately our daughter had an unpleasant encounter with one of the normally docile sting rays and required medical attention. No worries about the rays we had dozens of peaceful sightings all week and only had issue when we shouldn’t have been out in the rough surf. The family select staff Israel, Alejandro and I never got the lifeguards name but he deserves a shout out as well, they had the knowledge of what creature it was knew how to treat it were confident, cautious and a big bonus, everyone of the staff were there and were amazing at keeping my very dramatic daughter calm. Eric from family Select 51 had a cart and wheelchair ready and waiting for us to go to the onsite dr. Eric was always ready to make our experience even better throughout the trip but he stayed with us throughout the ordeal. I hope no one has to visit the onsite Dr but know she was knowledgeable, able to communicate what was happening and was super friendly and was very reassuring for my girl. Cost of the visit wasn’t outrageous and if the price keeps the dr on site rather than the next town it’s worth it. Even the next day the staff made a point of asking my daughter how she was when they passed by. Which made her feel like a bit of a celebrity. It’s what you want and expect from a premium all inclusive for families. We enjoyed our experience and our daughter has a story to tell and a new spirit animal…

  A slice of paradise

  A Slice of Paradise at the Grand Palladium Kantenah! If you're looking for an unforgettable getaway, the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa in Riviera Maya is an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the resort's stunning natural beauty and the incredibly warm hospitality of the staff. It's truly a place where you can relax, explore, and create amazing memories. What We Loved: The Vibe & Atmosphere: The resort has this unique "jungle" feel, nestled in lush rainforest with beautiful wildlife like coatis, iguanas, and even monkeys roaming freely. It’s massive, but the layout is gorgeous, with tranquil paths and a seemingly endless stretch of beautiful beach (water shoes are recommended in some spots for snorkeling among the coral and fish!). Amazing Staff: The staff were the true stars of the show! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to want us to have the best time. A huge shoutout to the bar staff for their excellent cocktails and the restaurant teams (especially Javier at La Hacienda for those perfect morning omelettes!) for making us feel so welcome. The service was top-notch, and we never felt forgotten. Delicious Dining: The food was fantastic! The buffets offered a massive variety, with different options at every meal (the show cooking was a highlight). The à la carte restaurants were also brilliant; the Japanese (teppanyaki!) and the American steakhouse were our favorites. Being able to book via the app made dining reservations easy. Endless Activities & Entertainment: There was never a dull moment! From water aerobics and foam parties in the large, sparkling pools to nightly shows with talented dancers and live music in the lobby, the entertainment team worked tirelessly to keep everyone engaged. There's something for everyone, whether you want a quiet day by an adult pool or an action-packed afternoon. Comfortable Rooms: Our room was spacious, super clean, and the bed was huge and so comfy we already miss it! The bathroom with the jacuzzi bath was a lovely touch, and having a balcony looking out onto the natural surroundings was very peaceful. A Quick Tip: The resort is large, so be prepared for some walking, but the convenient golf carts are always available to whiz you around if your feet get tired. Overall, we had a magical experience and would return in a heartbeat! Don't hesitate to book this resort if you want an incredible, friendly, and nature-filled vacation.
