50th Wedding Anniversary.
We have travelled extensively in our 50 years of marriage but this resort takes the wedding cake. We were treated splendidly from the time we arrived until our departure. Amazing room, staff, resort amenities, views, food. It was so great.

Luxurious, lovely, and costly
We were able to enjoy this amazing resort for only 2 days. Every staff member was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. We loved seeing the parrots in the lobby garden. All the gardens were amazing, and obviously well tended. Everything was very expensive, but it was all first-class. As with all resorts, there are fees for everything. We could not have afforded to stay there if we didn't use Chase reward points. But it was a wonderful way to celebrate my 80th birthday!

Wonderful family stay
What a great stay! Even a few weeks before our trip, guest service reached out and asked if we needed anything. I requested a room that didn’t require much walking and they gave us a spacious room with pool view. And ocean view from balcony. Guest service was excellent. My mom was so happy with her orchid lei from valet staff. Check in was great and my kid was gifted with sparkling apple bottle. The young bell person, didn’t catch his name, was so nice and patient with my mom, told us about the resort and pointed out all places along the way to our room. The welcome red velvet cakes were yummy. My son loved his own bed which was a pullout couch and it was quite comfortable with memory foam mattress. The room was perfect for us. Surprised to see toilet with bidet which I don’t see a lot in US hotels. The lounge was great for breakfast and evening hour. Food was ok and redundant but staff were so nice. My son loves the water slide and my mom loves the giant hot tub. There are so many pools that I didn’t even make it to all of them. The beach was very rough to swim in. There’s a cliff at the end of the beach with hiking trails and it was fun and scary to watch some people jumped off the cliff. There ground is also very beautiful. There are daily activities but we only made it to a presentation about sea turtle conservation and it was quite informative. Love the pineapple gummy at valet desk and reusable water bottles and tote bags. I wish I had more time here and would love to return.

Pure Paradise on Kauai
We love the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa! The property is beautiful. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean! The pool is incredible with multiple levels, several pools and a Salt Water Lagoon. The gardens and view is stunning. We had a special set up in our room to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary including champagne. We loved our pool water Ian! He was so friendly and remembered our names and conversation each day! His service is excellent and he could give lessons to others in making customers happy! Our housekeeper Estrella was sweet and efficient. And we always enjoy Mark and Chad at The Captains bar! And the crew at Stevenson’s Library! Families should take note this is an upscale resort. Food and beverage is very pricey but service makes it worthwhile.
