Things to Know

  • This resort sits on 328 yards of one of the most prestigious and pristine beaches in all of Cancun, yet is just minutes from the hottest spots in the city.
What better place for you to take a break than at Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun on the white sands of Punta Cancun? Shielded from the open sea by the shores of Isla Mujeres, the 328-yard private beach offers calm, warm, swimmable waters in almost every kind of weather. Choose a thatched-roof palapa to indulge in a shaded, beach experience, or lounge in the sun with a cool beverage and light-menu fare from the nearby Sunrise Bar for a perfect afternoon in paradise.

Rising above the beach, offering a view of Caribbean splendor, Fiesta Americana's 220-yd-long heated, free-form pool features elevated levels on each end that cascades into a mid-level section, and gently meandering channels beneath rough-stone bridges. Three swim-up bars and a nearby 24-ft children's pool, complete with a waterslide from a rubber-matted playground, ensures that everyone in the family enjoys the perfect pool experience!

Gastronomically speaking, this resort offers five restaurants, featuring beachfront Isla Contoy's uber-fresh seafood and tropical-drink menu served under a giant palapa, and La Joya's authentic Mexican cuisine and hand-rolled cigars served in a chic Latin atmosphere. Families enjoy the variety with both casual and dressy options. The Kid's Club makes sure parents can escape for a bit of pampering at the spa or a game of tennis while the kids have fun with the supervised activities.

While the daytime allows for family and couples' activities, such as aqua aerobics, Spanish lessons and snorkeling, just to name a few, the nighttime is the perfect time to check out the resort's bars; and if that's not enough, you're within walking distance to the hottest nightlife in Cancun.

As a member of "The Leading Hotels of the World" resort guests enjoy their pick of 602 oceanfront suites that feature stunning views, 560 sq ft of marble floors, sunken living rooms, private terraces and best of all, in-room dining, 24/7.

    Best All -Inclusive Resort!

This is hands down the best all-inclusive resort we have stayed at! We went in mid-June, and although the weather called for rain every day, it only actually rained at night or here and there for five minutes. The overcast weather was a reprieve from the intensity of the sun, but don’t be deceived, you will still burn! I don’t often care for food one way or the other, but the food here was fabulous! It was fresh and delicious! The pool and beach were perfection. Even though we are in peak seagrass season, this hotel was seaweed-free while most others were struggling daily with it! We were told this is because the resort is located on the top of the “7” of the hotel zone (those are your best hotel choices this time of year). The rooms were beautiful, but nothing compared to the view! We are already planning two return trips for next year, one with our families and one with our friends! This is a great resort for couples or families!

This truly is a wonderful hotel. The food is amazing in everything single restaurant, but I would like to emphasize the customer service. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly and kind. There’s a little trouble with the line for breakfast at the main restaurant but it’s totally worth it. Can’t wait to come back!

    Well staffed, very attentive!

My husband and I spent the first week of June here and then another week at Occidental Xcaret. What impressed us about Grand Fiesta was the sheer number of staff working diligently. An employee was just a step away at all times, willing to help us with whatever our question or need was. Our rooms were well cleaned twice a day. The restaurant staff and bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable (and patient, as we speak no Spanish). We did not have a hard time finding a chair by the pool on any day. There was a conference that week, which might have been why, as those guests were not by the pool during the day. I loved the restaurant on the beach, as having dinner while the sunset was romantic and fun. We enjoyed all the other restaurants, as well. We made reservations for every night on our first night (b/c of other reviews suggesting this). We were also able to "waitlist" on our first night and eat at the steakhouse. Being able to order food right to our chair, poolside, was a plus. Room service was prompt and warm. Nice selection. It was disappointing for my husband to never be able to eat inside wearing a tank top, while ladies could wear anything or barely anything. The entertainment was very disappointing. That could be improved as there was not much to do but sit and drink at night. The fire show was the best of the options, but that wasn't top-notch by far. We would return.

    Great Family Friendly All-inclusive

We had a great experience at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach. It's been a while since we've done an all-inclusive and the first time we've done it with our kids. I was a bit hesitant because the food wasn't great in previous experiences but I really wanted our trip to be as relaxing and easy as possible. Grand Fiesta Coral Beach did not disappoint. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and given a nice cool towel and a glass of champagne. Check-in was seamless. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed the pools and poolside service. The rooms were cleaned daily. The one thing that was a little frustrating was having to ask for the bar to be restocked with water, snacks and coffee. It was no problem getting what we needed but we did have to ask for those items. Ideally it would have been restocked daily when the room was cleaned. As for the food, we had really good experiences at Chianti and Torii (Romualdo, Estelle and Angel were amazing!!). The staff were very kind and personable and the food was quite good. Our experience at La Joya was not as good - food and service. The buffet is ok. We only went for breakfast. There are lots of options. Room service was solid. We ate it several times and it was always delivered with a smile. The game room was also lots of fun for our 9 and 11 year old boys. We had fun too playing ping pong and pool. All and all, it was a really good, really relaxing trip.
