    Relaxing Vacation

    We had a wonderful vacation at GR Solaris! It was a nice short ride from the airport - first to be dropped off. Helpful welcoming staff at front desk. We were on the first floor and our rooms were beautiful and large. We had a lovely balcony with lounge chairs. King beds were comfortable. The shower was updated and had good pressure but it wasn’t always hot enough. Most importantly it was very very clean. Our other room had problems with the a/c and called for help at 10pm. A handyman was there within minutes and fixed the problem. The food was okay overall. We each found things to enjoy. My favourite was the fish tacos and the main fish dish at Don Gus. We also enjoyed the day they made fresh tacos on the pool deck. The stone pizza’s were a hit as well as the lunch buffet on deck. The service was always excellent! From the coffee shop (good latte) to the buffets to the poolside - everyone was so friendly. Leo took good care of us by the pool and we really appreciated her. Yzrael and his team were always entertaining at the poolside. They were fun and friendly, really getting to know the guests. My favourite thing was getting salsa lessons from Yzrael on our last day! I’ll miss his smiling face (and big hair)! If I had a complaint, I wish so much of the evening entertainment wasn’t inside. We didn’t wish to be inside and tucked away. I feel we missed out, but the one night we went it was just a recorded concert on a big screen. There also could have been better information on the days events and activities to participate in. I did eventually find the app, but it was lacking. We would definitely return for another vacation.

    Amazing experience

    We stated at the GR Solaris, which is only 20 min drive from the airport and another 20 min to downtown Cancun. The grounds, pools, restaurants, large lobby bar and all other amenities were always very clean and had calm relaxing atmosphere. All staff there is amazing , friendly, helpful and accommodating. Vermon went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay pleasant. Our room was clean, well air conditioned with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Bathroom was very clean and had basics like a blow dryer, shampoo, body wash, lotion etc . We greatly enjoyed our stay there and can't wait to come back !

    Entertainment

    We have enjoyed our stay here at GR Solaris Cancun! My favorite thing about the trip was how nice the staff at the resort is. Ruben and Yzrael have become like family to me. Very nice, welcoming, and so fun to be around. Definitely missing them already. Entertainment is the best part.

    2 Week Winter Sun Break from the UK

    Amazing two week stay in this hotel over the festive period. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily. The staff could not do enough - specially the waiters German and Angel. Israel was great as a fitness instructor and I loved taking part in the morning yoga class. The only negatives was that the evening entertainment was not the best and the buffet food could have been a lot better. Especially on the evenings that we had to eat in the main room at tables with complete strangers.
