    Can't wait to come back!

    We come to GR twice a year and can't wait to return. One of the reasons that we keep coming back is we love the entertainment staff. Yzrael Aguilar is the heart of the fitness program. Who wants to concentrate on fitness while on vacation you ask? I always think it won't be me but he is so engaging. I end up never gaining weight on vacation because he keeps me active and has me trying new things. He's even willing to give you exercises to take home with you. This time I try to rebounder class along with my normal daily aqua aerobics. The entertainment staff including Rben Portillo keeps the pool area active. Leo is so attentive and in the evening you can join her on the lobby bar for a flaming coffee. Many people are concerned that you will have a "less than" experience if you are not a member. Remember this? Everyone comes the first time as a non-member and they join because they enjoyed themselves before signing up for the additional perks membership gives you. If you're looking for a smaller friendly resort where the staff makes you truly feel like you're at your second home, please consider giving GR a try.

    Another great vacation at GR Solaris

    Another great vacation at GR Solaris. The room was perfect overlooking the adult pool and ocean. Only a quick 20 ride from the airport. The staff there can not do enough to help you. They are all so happy, polite , and hardworking. The food while not that of a 5 star restaurant is very good. While you used to be able to make reservations at any of the 3 sister restaurants, that is no longer the case. There are 3 nice restaurants at GR and we at at all of them. I have to give a shout out to some of the waiters and bar tenders who always go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your vacation to the fullest. They are Hector and Eric from the members bar. Waiters Nino, Feliciano, Israel, and Benjamin. Last but not least were Lizeth and Leo who made sure our drinks were never empty. A great value for your money.

    A GReat vacation

    We stayed at the GR Solaris from 1/19-1/27/2026. We love the friendly and fun vacation vibe at this hotel. We really thought the food was much improved from our last visit. It was all very good. Love the facility improvements(pool decking) , love the room keys being incorporated into the bracelet and also the bottle filling stations. The staff work so very hard to make everything so wonderful. Loved the new Don Gus restaurant. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We took an excursion to do ATVs and zip lining in the jungle. So much fun. And, for the first time we kayaked in the lagoon on a perfect morning. While all the staff are truly wonderful a few people who deserve extra praise are waiters Nino, Benjamin and Feliciano(Marco polo and Gus)and Israel(zai) Hector and Eric who are superb in the Members lounge. They are so creative with making unique and delicious drinks and so friendly to chat with. Leo who served us by the pool and Lizeth who made delicious coffees each afternoon in the lobby. We really loved the pizza by the pool most afternoons. Can’t remember his name but that pizza guy works so hard making great pizza. Pedro our concierge was very personable and helpful. All in all another great vacation to the GR.

    Awesome get away.

    Everything was great! Food, customer service, room staff are very friendly, name it! No dull moments for all of us (5 couples.) We meet a lot of friends at the bar and had a great time with all of them. We will all miss our awesome servers Darvin and Manuel at the Buffet Restaurant, Yamei Leiva, the Manager at Mexican restaurant and Marco Polo club and Lizbeth at the Lobby bar. We had a 5 amazing days and definitely recommended to visit this place.
