    Awesome service!

    Loved this resort and the biggest reason was the AMAZING SERVICE! Never felt so welcomed before and treated like a king and queen! Absolutely recommend this place! Everyone is so friendly, funny and nice! I came here for my honeymoon/1st year anniversary and I am DEFINITELY coming back again with my wife as she loved every moment here! ¡Eso es paraíso!

    I would come back in a heartbeat

    Amazing location, close enough to walk to some great shops and restaurants. Food is a good quality with plenty of choice. There are a few minor decor improvements needed which can be seen if you look for them but the place is immaculately clean. The thing that really makes it worth 5 is the staff, they are attentive without hovering over you and they really make you feel welcome.

    August visit

    Such a brilliant holiday. Reading the reviews before coming away myself & my Fiancé was quite worried with the comments on the hotel needing a refurb, although this is very true it didn’t affect our holiday at all. We checked in around 9pm and the receptionist said that we booked for a room with two beds & wondered whether we wanted to change to a room with 1 king sized bed which we agreed to. The room was pretty basic, and was on the 1st floor, nothing too special but was all we really needed. Only thing with the room was that there wasn’t any fridge which would’ve been helpful. The hair dryer was POWERFUL which is always good. During the night we realised there was a wet patch on the bathroom floor which neither of us was too sure where it was coming from but then in the morning realised that it was coming from outside the room, there was a leak on the ceiling (think it was from the storms which were there previously) and was going into our room and then into the bathroom. That morning after breakfast we went to reception and asked whether we can change rooms and they said they will have maintenance there to check and to come back at like mid day as they had a lot of people checking out that day so there should be rooms available, which we did and was then moved up to the 3rd floor, which was pretty much identical just with no leak which we was happy with. There are 5 restaurants on site, the Japanese, oriental, Italian/ seafood, steak & buffet. However, whilst we was there the oriental restaurant seemed to be closed & half of the buffet was closed off, but found out during our time there that it was because the hurricane/ storm which was there was the reason why there was damage. The sumo / Japanese restaurant was then turned into the oriental restaurant. Food was really good though! Day entertainment was good, aqua aerobics, pool volleyball & beach volleyball. Martin & “sexy” Rosie was brilliant. Evening entertainment on the other hand was very hit and miss, there was a international show, decades show, karaoke & Mexican night whilst we was there but their not great at advertising whats on each night which is quite annoying. We did do Coco bongo(which was AMAZING) and went down to the town for a night out one night to break up the evenings. As there was a couple bars open in the evening it was difficult to know where to go/ base our night, I heard the tiki bar around the pool was good at night but sometimes got a little crazy! Which is never a bad thing! Then there was the bar in the lobby which seemed a bit more chill & then the sixties bar was where the music was (&karaoke which it was on), music wise they tended to fit it to who was in there at the time, for example at the beginning of our holiday it was a good mix of english music & Spanish, however towards the end of the holiday, all evening they had Spanish music which was quite annoying for people of didn’t know any of the music, a mix every night would’ve been much better. The pool was beautiful, with an amazing view over the beach, our first morning we wasn’t used to the timings so was up and out by 5 and was on the beach watching the sunrise which is a must as it was amazing. We had no problems getting sun beds & even when we went off on an excursion during the day & came back around 330, there was still beds available. There were towels available by the pool every day also. The staff are brilliant, around the pool & at the bars. Would defiantly recommend buying/ bringing a flask cup which you can ask the staff to put any drink in just because it was always cold as round the pool the drinks just got so warm so quickly. We met some amazing people there as well would defiantly go back.

    Stayed 9 days, may not return

    2nd time visitors. We had a nice time, stayed for 9 days. STAFF IS 10 OUT OF 10. OSCAR and MOISES!!!!!! we love you..thank you Gama, Marco and Carlos.. The place is kept clean and tidy. Cons, the place is in serious need of renovations. Leaks everywhere in the common areas. Lack of A/C in the entire resort. Bathroom by the pool broken faucet. FOOD, taste ok but the same exact thing for bkfast and lunch everyday, very limited. One day we were served a special lunch by the pool. If they renovate we might revisit but. If not we will not return. 😕 M

    Oscar, Alfonzo, Perfecto, y Gamaliel were the BEST so so good outstanding customer service 10 out of 10 5 stars Love everything about these guys - SO KIND They deserve some kind of special bonus or reward of some kind for always going the extra mile for us. Can't say enough good things about them!
