Golden Parnassus is great!
Golden Parnassus has an amazing staff! They know you by name after meeting you just once! They have worked there for 10 plus years and it's amazing to see their loyalty to the resort and the customers. Everyone we met were returning visitors, some up to 30 times! Everyone comes back or the service! It's a smaller resort with a big personality!! Be sure to ask for Fonzi, Oscar, Jose, Edith and Martin!! They will definitely make your stay memorable.
Could Not Be More Grateful We Chose This Resort
We chose this resort simply for its all-inclusive and adult-only features but upon arrival realized that we made SUCH a good choice for other reasons. The place is a perfect mix of small and quaint but with a large resort feel, the food at every restaurant was to DIE for, and all of the staff were so genuinely fun and friendly. It felt really nice to have so many staff members remember your name and details about you, and to ask you about your hometown and family. Every morning we woke up excited to spend time at the resort and play games and do activities with the crew. Additionally, the housekeeping was VERY prompt and went above and beyond every single day of our stay. If we return to Cancun we will never stay anywhere else.
The coronavirus could not stop the fun time that we had!! Every time I’ve gone to Mexico’s service has been great! But this week service was exceptional! I cannot tell you how each and every person went over and beyond to make sure that we were 100% satisfied and enjoyed our stay! I want to send a special shout out to Yaneli, Oscar, Gaspar, Gama, Sammy, Fermin, Jose, and Fonzy!!! And let me not forget the entertainment staff! Y’all rock and we will certainly be back!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Began horrible but got better every day
We were the first ones to stay at the resort after the 3 month closure. Lots of little things that showed the hotel was not ready (air conditioning, door locks, phones working, electrical outlets, lamps, etc.) but each day got better as they figured things out. Food (only 2 restaurants open, food/bar service, view, staff, beach, pool, entertainment staff were all top notch and amazing.
Checked out after one night
The rooms were outdated, the food was just so-so, the vibe was "redneck spring break", the bar at the pool was filled with folks drunk by noon....smoking cigarettes and cigars. One gent had a T-shirt that read "I'M A VAGATARIAN". Yep, that is NOT a typo. So if that is your scene...stay there. If you want something a little more refine, there are plenty of other hotels that will accommodate you
