    Excellent memories of our time in PV

    This place is amazing. The staff are all so helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. It’s in a good location- not far from the Carosol mall and on a bus route, but, once on the property, you never hear any traffic and the views are amazing. We watched whales from our deck, and fireworks from the Pirate ship every night. With 5 restaurants, there is a great selection of good food. I want to single out Jorge, activities coordinator, Martin, from Concierge desk, Pedro, from poolside service group, and the chefs at every restaurant, who made every effort to meet special dietary requirements. Thanx for the great memories - we will be back!

    Magical Fiesta Americana

    A hidden gem with the friendliest hardworking employees. Sergio at pool bar is fantastic. Jorge and David with activities have never ending enthusiasm The atmosphere is relaxed and rooms are clean and well functioning with views. The resort itself is very clean and has a beautiful lobby It is very walkable. Both to town and the malecon and the marina as well as both sides of the beach you can go for miles The food is very good with lots of variety The coffee bar in the lobby is great It feels like a family and we were sad when our visit was over but we will be back

    Disappointing response to a serious safety and privacy concern

    There were some positives to our stay. The property is very clean, the food is good for an all-inclusive, and most staff provide excellent service. The lobby coffee shop is a standout—Madel, in particular, offers superb customer service. While the beach is not ideal for swimming, it was exciting to see whales from shore. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a serious incident involving guest safety and a potential invasion of privacy—and by how poorly it was handled. On our second day, while staying on the 7th floor, we noticed a drone hovering directly outside our window. When we approached the window, the drone immediately flew away. This was alarming. We reported it to the front desk, but several staff members did not understand the concern. We asked for a manager to follow up. No one did. Over the next two days, we repeatedly tried to escalate the issue. We were given inconsistent and inaccurate information about who the General Manager was and whether he was even employed there. We were eventually told to speak with Alma, who we were told was the manager. Her response showed no urgency, no apology, and no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation. Even after we clearly expressed our concerns about privacy and the risk of physical harm should the drone malfunction, there was still no remorse, accountability, or meaningful effort to ensure guest reassurance. We were later informed that the General Manager, Francisco, is in fact still employed and was simply away for the week—directly contradicting what staff had told us earlier. This further eroded our trust and raised concerns about transparency and accountability. While we were told security had been “increased,” there was no visible action and no effort to address our experience from a customer-service standpoint. For a hotel of this calibre, the lack of concern for guest safety, privacy, and follow-up is deeply disappointing. This review is intended to formally raise a safety and privacy issue that may carry regulatory implications. The presence of a drone outside an occupied guest-room window, combined with the lack of a timely, documented management response, raises concerns about compliance with guest safety obligations and applicable privacy and aviation regulations. This matter requires immediate attention from senior leadership and ownership.

    Great Time at Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta

    We had a great time at Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta. Hotel is clean and food good. Staff is wonderful, our housemaid Patricia did a great job with our room. Loved that they have doctors on site, since I slipped after taking a shower and needed 8 stitches in my head. Dr. Salvador did an excellent job! Pool is great, could use a bit more shade areas. The 3 restaurants for dinner were had good food. We would gladly go back to this resort.

    A+ Experience

    We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The resort is located only 10ish minutes drive from the airport. The beds in the room were comfortable and we slept great. The service across the resort was excellent and accommodating. All the restaurants had a nice selection of food. We especially had a great time at the Asian restaurant with Filipi and Leonidas as our hosts. Mondo was a beautiful hangout spot to get drinks after dinner and Lilly was a great host and server.
