Love the time we spent there with some minor inconvenience

    ### Fiesta Americana Review Fiesta Americana offers a delightful stay with several noteworthy pros. The staff is exceptionally polite, ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish. The resort is a fantastic place for snorkeling, with no one trying to sell you anything, allowing you to fully enjoy the serene environment. Food options are plentiful, including convenient room service, and the resort is blissfully away from the bustling cruise crowd. Laundry facilities are available on-site, though you’ll need to bring your own detergent or purchase some for 30 pesos. Additionally, it's a scenic 18-minute walk to the Chankanaab Beach Club. However, there are a few drawbacks. The resort is a bit far from downtown, requiring a 10-20 minute taxi ride costing between 200-400 pesos, with prices varying. There’s no option to rent life vests or snorkel equipment on-site, so come prepared. Guests in upper-level rooms might experience some noise, though first-floor suites are quiet. The gym has very limited equipment, and while Cozumel is known for its reefs, don’t expect extensive sandy beaches. Overall, Fiesta Americana is an excellent choice for a peaceful, snorkeling-centric getaway, with minor inconveniences that are easily manageable.

    Not great. Pick another one.

I have been to all inclusive resorts a handful of times with no problems in Cozumel. I would rate this as our worst stay. A few rude staff. Asian style restaurant hostess was visibly rude to English speaking visitors versus Spanish speaking. Poolside bar service minimal. Everywhere for dinner requires reservation through a link that barely worked. Sheets on ned were damp. Several lapses in electricity going off and on. Room was warm to hot. We had to all for them to add water to out plunge pool because it was extremely low upon arrival. They're was a mold smell in our room. We all had stomach issues which I have never experienced in previous trips. Only places to eat that didn't require reservations closed at 5pm. Room service, there was never an order without a mistake. Housekeeping also didn't leave/replenish water bottles so we had to request water daily.

    Many reasons to stay here

Fabulous meals, great people and service. Meticulously clean and maintained. We switched to other hotels/condos in the past three years while the beach issues were sorted out. Dive House still has a partial presence there for us divers. Recommend!!!

    Fun in the sun

Love the location, a little out of town so not crowded with cruise passengers. Beautiful views, large balconies overlooking the sea. Snorkeling right down the steps. Big, beautiful array of fish. Hammocks and beds that are shaded and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. Shout out to Alejandra, the breakfast hostess. She remembered my name after seeing me once. Food was really good. I especially liked the teriyaki chicken and spring rolls, yum. Food and drinks available everywhere at this resort. Pool was refreshing, missing a few tiles but that didn't matter much to me. Loved the nightly entertainment.

    Absolutely fabulous!

I am writing on the final day of what has been by far the most enjoyable vacation I’ve ever had in Mexico (and I have been here many, many times), and most other places as well. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, the views of the Caribbean breathtaking, and the food fantastic, but by far the best thing about Fiesta Americana is the staff. From the front desk, to the restaurants, to the bars, the cleaning people, the waiters/waitresses are all extraordinary. Special thanks to Alejandra, Christian, Gabriel, Maria, Carlos, Noemi (spa), even Saul, who was persistent in trying to get me to buy into their rewards program, was always kind and courteous. I cannot speak highly enough about them. The beach access across the street has been reopened, along with their lovely restaurant. I will definitely come back for my vacation next year, and the year after that, and the year after that…
