Great Family Experience
We wanted an all-inclusive that had room for six adults in one villa. We had previously stayed at a Fiesta Americana in Cancun with a great experience. We were welcomed warmly and the entire staff made us feel like family for our seven days here. Our villa was always clean and it was tucked away but still easily accessible. A shout out to some amazing staff even though I know there were lots of others who made our stay so special! Fernanda and Naomi from the entertainment staff are the sweetest and most fun people ever! My girls became instant friends with them! Alejandra remembered our family name and room number by day two and she was one of our favorite people to see every day! Isabel from Rosato was like a family member by the time we left! She always accommodated us and made our evenings special, including bringing us a special cake for our anniversary. A quick tip - they do use an app for reservations but often there weren’t any and if we went to see her at the hostess stand she could get us in! Manuel and Luis were our favorite servers there! The pool service from Jorge, Edwin and Miguel was out of this world! Aaron made sure we had everything we needed at the pool bar. Selene made the most amazing coffee drinks for us everyday! Last but not least, Virginia makes the world’s best quesadillas at breakfast - don’t miss out!

The best
We have been going to the fiesta americana Cozumel for a few years. We love it! Everyone is so kind and friendly and helpful! We are treated like family and we always enjoy our visit and stay and visiting with all the employees. All the restaurants have excellent food and excellent service! I just can’t say enough about all the employees. We love our breakfast at Vina Del Mar. Arturo and all the staff are so welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond making sure that everything is great. All the bartenders are great and like to make us some special and interesting drinks. Saul is always so awesome taking care of us and our reservations and anything else that we need when we stay. He goes above and beyond! Angelica runs an excellent resort, everything is always clean and runs so smooth because of her and all her excellent staff! We will see you again next year! PS remember to tip The staff they deserve it:-)

Now back as my No.1 spot!
The last couple of times my husband and I visited Cozumel (we come every summer), I’ve been so disappointed in our stays. Cozumel Palace and Psrk Royal come up short for snorkeling. Secrets Aura had gone severely down in quality overall, mainly in regard to service and food. We’ve always loved Fiesta Americana for the snorkeling, especially, but we’d passed on it while the beachfront facilities were closed. Now open, we’ve been so happy with our stay!! Snorkeling was fantastic; can easily swim to Dzul Ha (I refuse to call it Money Bar). The room was always cleaned well and the other facilities were spotless. The food always comes up a bit short in these all inclusives, the insecurity of Mexicans with what they have should be honored over trying to do “Asian” or “Italian” food. I lived in Mexico for a short period and found that each state offers wonderfully different, fresh and clean cuisine. However, the crowds here seem to be pleased with it and were not picky eaters. The room was very comfortable, ac was cold. I always had hot water for showers and my husband said only one day was it lukewarm. The staff at any of the resorts are absolutely wonderful! Here is no exception. There are waiters on the beach for drinks or food and those in the restaurant are amazing in regard to service. I’m sorry to no longer see folks not tipping a dollar or two. It makes a difference to these folk! But even if you don’t, they are still attentive and friendly! I’m sorry to be leaving today, but happy to know Fiesta Americana is up to the highest standards in Cozumel again!!!

Family Fun
We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly and attentive, the food and drinks were great. We stayed in an ocean view room. The view was amazing. Room was very clean and they kept it stocked with drinks and snacks. We spent most of our time swimming, the pool was beautiful and staff was available to bring drinks all day. The ceviche restaurant was our favorite for lunch. Overall lots of fun for the whole family.

A Disappointing Stay with Minimal Highlights
Our experience at this hotel was, unfortunately, very disappointing from start to finish. We had planned a surprise for my dad and coordinated with the hotel to help decorate the room, but when we arrived, the front desk was a complete disaster. The room wasn’t even ready, which was frustrating since we had communicated our plans in advance. As a member of the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club, I expected at least a decent level of service, but it was nowhere near that. The next day, we spent over an hour at a beach cabana without anyone offering us a drink or food. The service was non-existent. The spa was another letdown. While the staff was exceptional, the facilities and equipment at the spa were extremely basic. My mani-pedi experience was nowhere near what I expected for a resort of this caliber. The food was another disappointment — it was very basic and lacked any special touch you’d expect from a resort. Little to no protein options at the buffet and you have birds trying to steal your food from breakfast to lunch. Overall, the only redeeming factor was Regina from the entertainment team, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and engaged. I hope the management takes these issues seriously because the potential is there, but the current state of service and amenities is far below acceptable standards.
