Jul 01, 2025Sprawling beachfront pampering
Beautiful beach, great food (though very expensive) and excellent staff. The buggies sometime took a little time and there was sometimes a long waiting line at busy times, but overall between walking and biking getting around the large property is easy. The included activities like the boat ride and catamaran are enjoyable. It’s nice to have easy access to the other properties like the Banyan Tree and Andaz too. The little place La Fondita run by the Rosewood is lovely, though our favourite was the Fairmont’s beachfront restaurant Fuego.

Our stay at the heritage residences was exceptional. Our butler Agustin was fantastic and he went out of his way to ensure our needs were not only met, but exceeded. His always welcoming smile and positive attitude, combined with ability to assist with transportation throughout the resort (which was always necessary due to having a grandparent that had difficulty walking), arranging dinner and activity reservations, and constantly doing small gestures for our kids (balloons, treats, toys) are a primary reason we’ll be returning in the future. With that said, the entire staff at Fairmont are exceptional and always will to assist. The property is beautiful and food delicious, especially since you have access to restaurants at other resorts. Only complaint is the seaweed (June-August) which makes spending time in the water very unpleasant and even just sitting at the beach less than desirable due to the smell.

Wonderful!
Absolutely wonderful experience at the Fairmont! Hotel is gorgeous on a gorgeous property and the staff is second to none. Shout out to Alfonso aka Poncho who took the best care of us, and even came back to find us with my daughter's shoe when it fell off during a golf car ride. The room we were given initially had a strong mold smell, so we were moved to another room that was much better. Huge pool areas with ample areas to relax. We cant wait to return!

Compliments to the Fairmont staff
Wonderful facilities fantastic service and we want to specially commend Augustin Ortiz for his service which was above and beyond. He was extremely helpful and a delightful person to interact with. He is excellent at his job and a credit to the Fairmont staff and a reason to come back.

Amazing service - authentic, informative, helpful, and sincere! Nothing over the top and pretentious about this restaurant and service; just top notch in every way.
