Jan 31, 2026Windy & wonderful!
We escaped the Canadian winter and spent two glorious weeks at OBBR this January. The weather was sunny, very windy, (trade winds the first week) with a few minutes of rain spattered throughout our stay. The pool and views are beautiful. Kenny at the pool deck was always ready with a smile, to arrange our chairs and umbrellas. We enjoyed the bars and restaurants (ate a few times at the Verandah and twice at Infiniti). Shout out to Cee Jay who provided lovely service our last night and to the bar staff at the pool (Wanda & David) for their attention & happy hour specials! We did not rent a car, but had no issues getting cab service (Nate the Great) when we went off-site. We are already planning our 2027 return!

Fabulous location, great accommodations with the best staff! Just finished a great trip to Oyster Bay Beach Resort
From making the reservations with Cindy Clarke to Althea maintaining our room to Jahim and Joshua taking care of us on the beach, we could not have been happier. Ricardo Perez runs a great resort! David at the bar making great drinks with the biggest smile! Our trip home was in jeopardy with a threatening snow storm but the staff was very helpful extending our accommodations. Hotel is spotless and all the staff extremely professional and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!

The hotel itself is quite secluded . We were there for a sister trip so we didn’t mind it so much! The amenities were very clean, our 2 bedroom apartment was spotless and lots of room for the 4 of us. The staff were incredibly efficient and extremely friendly! Karaoke night was so much fun! The pool was great ! With a great view of St.Barth ! There is a hot tub that’s very hot and in the cool evenings it was wonderful! Our time here was a relaxing vacation and only a 10 min taxi to the core of St.Philipsburg. The beach was beautiful to look at but not the blue and green calm bay like other spots !!!

Wonderful beach hotel on St. Martin, highly recommended
Visited the Oyster Bay Beach Resort in Dec 2025 for 7 days. Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed at. We were right on the ocean and had an amazing view. Housekeeping staff was top notch, the food at both hotel restaurants was marvelous and a wonderful variety of things to choose from. The gift shop kept us coming back for more gifts for friends and family back home and the lady that ran it, was so nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend getting a massage at the Spa there. We had such a great time at this hotel, can't wait to get back.

Oyster Bay Beach Resort Review
Oyster Bay Beach Resort was the most amazing experience for my husband and me. From the planning stages to the arrival at the airport ( Booked Jet Blue), everything was so smooth. Once we got our luggage, the VIP livery was there waiting for us. Our driver Calvin was the best. He was friendly, knowledgable, and so timely when picking us up and dropping us off. We asked Calvin if he would be our driver for the week should we go off the resort. He agreed. Absolutely the best. At the check in desk At Oyster Bay Beach Resort (OBBR) the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Unit we stayed in was in a central location (Building 4). You see Oyster Bay out the front of the unit and the ocean out the back. Awesome views. The OBBR is on the Dutch side of St. Maarten only a short distance from the French side. It happened to be Holiday Week the week we were there and the resort had so many event and activities going on. From aerobics at the pool, bingo mid-day, and hat, sweater, and unit door contests brought so much fun to the resort as well as meeting new people. The Infinity pool was so beautiful. We understand one of the top five pools in the Caribbean. It is famous for being built on a coral reef offering unobstructed views of St. Barths (which there was ferry service to get out to St. Barths from Philipsburg, Dutch side or from the town of Marigot on the French side The pool side and ocean front dining was so relaxing and food was excellent. There is a day spa on site, gift shop, fitness facility and a market where you could pick up items to use/cook with in your unit. Timeshare Ownership was available to hear about. However, we did not have time-share. The OBBR had such friendly staff and the activities staff certainly put all their efforts in making our week staff the best!!! We would definintely go back to this resort.
