Great hotel, not great beach
My husband, 3 kids (18, 15, and 12) and I had a great stay at the Embassy Suites in Aruba! Pros/cons below; overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we travel to Aruba! Pros: The pool area is fanatic! The pool is very big so never felt crowded and there are plenty of chairs/shade. The service and food/drinks from poolside restaurant/bar was great. The breakfast buffet included in the rate was very good. Tons of options and well-stocked each day. We ate at the on-site restaurant for dinner twice, both times service was great and food was good. The hotel was clean and our room was comfortable for the 5 of us. Not huge but we didn't do much except sleep and shower there so it was fine for that. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons: The hotel beach is not great. The beach itself is small but fine, however the rocks make enjoying the water nearly impossible. The pool more than made up for it but if you're looking for a beach vacation this isn't your hotel. The "evening reception" line for the bar was insane. I understand when there's free drinks there will be a lot of interest but I feel like they could figure out a better way manage that process.

Small rooms
We only stayed here for one night, because the condo in which we were staying was not available for the last night of our trip. After spending 6 nights in a spacious 2 bed/ 2 bath fully equipped condo, it was a bit of a shock to our system to move into such a small room at the embassy. The room was clean and we were able to check in a little early, which was great. The suite was extremely small. The bathroom was a decent size ( practically the same size as the sitting area, but had no fan (not great when family of 5 is sharing room). The pool was nice but very busy and drink from outside bar very weak. The line for the free drinks at 5 pm was not worth the wait. We didn't like the underground tunnel leading to the beach. It felt like we were in the subway. The breakfast buffet was good. Nice selection of hot foods and plentiful. It was fine staying here for one night, but I would not want to spend a week here. You can get much more value and space for your money if you rent a condo.

Aruba!!
All went well during our recent stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Aruba. The staff is great! The facility was busy. Since it is relatively new it is a very nice Embassy Suites. It has a great pool and surrounding area. The Beach is smaller and across the street, but accessible by a nice tunnel. The tunnel also provides access to the walking/running/bike path that is along the waterfront going north and provides access to the hotel zone to the south. Complementary breakfast and the cocktail hour are nice. The restaurant - pool bar & evening dining - do a good job and have great staff also!!

Excellent Option for Larger Groups
We booked a room at The Embassy Suites because we wanted a place with three beds, beach access, and a reasonable price. It was a great fit for our needs. Pros: -a newer property and was very clean -pretty pool area with plenty of chairs and floats that they loan out -a delicious breakfast buffet -fun, energetic happy hour with featured cocktails and snacks (the salsa was amazing!) -very friendly employees, especially the guy who works at the pool telling everyone that the secret to happiness is sharing your smile -walking distance to Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, the butterfly farm, and many restaurants and shops -there is a bike path/wide sidewalk that goes past the hotel that is excellent for walking or running Cons: -the beach area is across the street (you can walk through a tunnel) and not a great beach area for swimming, playing in the sand, etc.

Almost excellent
The location of the hotel is excellent! A short distance from Palm and Eagle Beach, which are the most central beaches! The hotel has a direct exit to the beach, but the one right in front of the hotel is quite weak. The structure is excellent! Very good outdoor area and the rooms are impeccably clean and neat! It's got a kit with shampoo, soaps and vegetables! The suite with views, has a beautiful view in the morning and a strategic location from the sunset! Bed and pillows very comfortable! We use the gym every day (open 24 hours), but the equipment is limited. I found it small for the size of the hotel! Breakfast very good and with well extended schedule. Supply everyone's need. I didn't find the officials bad, but they were always in a bad mood... they seemed like they were always dissatisfied! Very indifferent receptionists. As soon as we arrived at check-in, no one offered help with the bags or offered any guidance. The girl who made the omelet was super fat! The faxineira was excellent! The hotel provides a happy hour at 5pm which is pretty cool. Another super negative point is the amount they charge for certain services... The hotel charges $50 per day to rent a beach chair (other places like the coconnut charges $8 and still leaves at the hotel)! What could be offered for free or even for a fair price, given the value of the hotel's daily living, ends up becoming an opportunity to explore the guests! The hotel takes doubt for WA tb! This service is very agile!
