Great value and enjoyable
I recently returned from this resort and had a pretty great experience. One thing to keep in mind, this isn’t a five-star luxury resort and I think you get more than what you pay for. I have stayed at other resorts that are similar in quality for much more, so I do think this resort offers good value. The food was overall very good and they have a decent selection of alcohol. The red wine was decent for an all inclusive too! The resort has several restaurants to choose from and the only two requiring reservations are the Japanese and Italian restaurants. The Japanese was our least favorite. The Mezcalito bar in the main lobby has a nice selection of cocktails. Entertainment at night is lacking a bit and the shows, if indoors, get pretty crowded. The rooms are very spacious and I had no issues. They do pack the pillows in the cases very tightly, so you may need to loosen the cases on the pillows to make them a bit softer and less bulky. The location of my room was kind of far from everything, but I did book the least expensive room category. This resort also offers some nice inclusions, like a visit to Maroma Beach Club. It is about an hour away though, so that is something to keep in mind. We did the catamaran tour and it's a full day experience. It was pretty fun! The lunch buffet was also very good. Could this place be better? Sure, but for the price, it’s a great value!

Disappointed, could be so much better!
This was our 4th visit, we have been visiting since 2019. This is my honest experience.... Cons We have noticed a difference in the quality and consistency of the restaurants and the food sadley. They have changed the chef and the menus in the restaurants, there is very little steak ,no long or short rib, no coconut creme brulee and very little ice cream. The yorkshire pudding and mash potatoes provided in the G pub restaurant was a joke... We had made a reservation for the G pub , but we were turned away as they had a wedding party at short notice. Some nights depending on the chef ? U could have a lovely hot meal, the same meal later in the week could be cold and raw! Found it frustrating and annoying sending food back and waiting for another meal. Sometimes they appeared short staff and we waited nearly an hour for our main course, only to send it back as it was raw... We also found it difficult to use the pools as the entire 2 weeks we were there, they had removed the steps to repair them , but had not replaced them??? Pros , the beach, grounds and the staff are beautiful! MANAGEMENT please please sort the food and menus! We would love to come back when ams if you do....

Good but not Great
Good location, room was spacious, kept clean, nice balcony with sea views. Free mini bar and room service! Beach was nice. Staff were lovely. Food could have been better. Careful of TUI reps. Push excursions. The free tequila/silver factory trip, I would advise checking out the trip advisor reviews for this as they are bang on. Highly recommend Coco Bongo and Cenotes. Overall a good experience for partners 30th birthday. Felt they could have made a bit more of an effort for it. Probably wouldn’t return to Mexico based on the overall experience, but nice to have added it to the list

Great trip despite the weather
We don't normally travel in October, it's rainy season but we thought what the hell... got there, lots of rain for the first 3 days, the one day it was biblical... major flooding... walking in 5 inches of rain... it was an experience!. Resort is one of the most beautiful resorts i have ever seen!. Staff were always great, very attentive! Food was delicious...Italian was our favorite. Booking reservations is difficult, wait times for none reservation restaurants had long waits. Beach is great... army of staff clearing the beach. Staff in the water clearing out coral and seaweed. Drinks top shelf, enjoy the mescalito bar, it was great! Would go back in a heartbeat.
