Oct 01, 2024Amazing and relaxing honeymoon experience!
We came here for our honeymoon for 6 nights and we had an amazing time. It was our first time choosing a resort without family we we were a little nervous but were surprised and so pleased with our experience. The palms side is absolutely beautiful, intimate, and quiet. Very nice for anyone who wants a quiet romantic vacation. Keep in mind we did go during slow season in late September. The food was delicious and we are picky about that, there was a lot of variation in food and flavours. The beach is also gorgeous, white sand and crystal clear water. All the staff were also wonderful and accommodating, we had a lot of great experiences with the entertainment staff including Benjamin from entertainment on seaside suites side with dancing. We also had such a great time doing volleyball and crafts with Jose, Luis, Maria, Angel, Alexandro. We would love to come here again and would recommend it to anyone else!

Super relaxing and very accommodating
El dorado was amazing , the food was actually really good (well seasoned and all meats were “fall off the bone”) the drinks were definitely not watered down. The service from all the employees was 5 star, they are all so so nice and accommodating, they all have the greatest attitudes and they remain so patient and nice even when met with the loud obnoxious Americans. Humberto in the lobby was so so sweet, he remembered our names and talked with us on multiple occasions. The entertainment team is always the best, they put their best effort forward. Benjamin from the seaside suites side came over one night and he was the best! I love him so much he was so friendly. Jose, Luis, Maria, Angel, Alexandro from the entertainment team were so so good too.

A truly special holiday.
My visit was amazing. I came for my partners birthday and had an amazing time. We had the moonlight dinner one night which was so romantic and well worth the price. We also did the half day trip to swim with turtles and visit a cenote. There were so many bats it was incredible. All the TUI instructors were great too. We particularly enjoyed the morning yoga with Adriana to start the day followed by the pool activities with Luis. To anyone celebrating a special occasion, there is the option to socialise or just keep to yourselves as much as you want. I can’t suggest it enough.

Everything you need for a RELAXING vacation in a LOVELY setting
If you are looking for a relaxing vacation that includes a large white sand beach with palm trees and cabanas, this is your place. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and will work very hard on your behalf to make sure you have everything you need. There are daily activities and classes, as well as free excursions: do not miss the catamaran trip that leaves from El Dorado Maroma (free transportation) and includes snorkeling and a fabulous beach buffet (our friends snorkeled for the first time and saw plenty of fish and felt safe in the ocean). The resort's fire show and circus show were excellent. Food ranges from good to great. There is something for everyone at breakfast and lunch. The large evening buffets are the best of the 3 El Dorado resorts in my opinion, most likely due to stations where food is being made fresh rather than rows of warming pans. Dinner menus are more gourmet and offer opportunities to try authentic world cuisine. Most importantly, rooms are very clean and the grounds are lovely and well-maintained. There were a few hiccups with some longer wait times for a sit-down breakfast and lunch. But leave your emotional baggage at home and relax- you're on vacation and the staff is doing their best. Kudos to them & everyone who works with the public. Special thanks to our amazing butlers: Ana and Arturo. Say hi to Gabriel on the beach who will help get you set up with a cabana or lounger. If you are a member, I highly recommend the Mixology class with David. If you are a Follow Me member, a word of caution: you are ineligible for spa discounts unless you pay for them with your own cash - you must pay full price to use your credits/dollars, so book through your butler. A 50 minute massage at full price is $180 / $280 for 80 minutes. Very expensive in my opinion. At the same time, the spa is gorgeous and the massage was absolutely wonderful. Excellent resort. Top service. Highly recommended
We booked a spontaneous trip to El dorado Seaside Palms and loved every second! Al staff were the most friendliest of people and couldn’t do enough to help you. We ate at all the restaurants , although Klay Talay was our favourite and we ate there twice. Jordy, the manager and our waiter Nelson went above and beyond to ensure our evening was the most special of occasions. I highly recommend paying for the lobster meal and the Rib eye Steak. Absolutely delicious! Our desert came with a wonderful little message on the plate, as it was our last day in resort. All the bars were well stocked with a vast choice of drinks. Bar staff are incredibly talented at making the most amazing cocktails to suit your taste. Angel, in the Gastro Pub bar is a very friendly chap and his cocktails were amazing. Really going to miss this place. But we will most certainly be booking again.
