  Musica under the Palms group

  Spent a week at this amazing resort with a large group. Musica under the Palms, a fabulous group experiencing live music for the week in paradise. The entire group of 80+ people had nothing but amazing things to say about the resort. Couldn’t have asked for better food and service and of course the grounds are so incredibly beautiful A personal thanks to Edgar Zambrano, the sales manager for working with me to make this event such a success. I also want to thank the Beach Butler Calvin, who took such great care of our groups needs every day on the beach. What an amazing young man this is and he is definitely an asset to El Dorado Seaside Palms. His service was meticulous and he had a big part in ensuring this was the best vacation ever for a lot of guests, thank you Calvin. We are already discussing a second annual Musica under the Palms and no place we would rather do this than the beautiful El Dorado Seaside Palms. ❤️

  The most amazing holiday from start to finish

  What an amazing holiday!! My husband and I spent 2 weeks here for our honeymoon and we had the best time from start to finish. The resort has everything you could need, the food is incredible and the staff are so friendly - they work incredibly hard and are always smiling and say hola. A big special thank you to Luis, Angel, Maria and Jose, you are all so much fun and the activities are amazing. Thank you once again, we have loved every second!!! Jo and Dec xxx

  Food and entertainment 10/10

  Couldn’t find a fault! Spent 2 weeks here for our honeymoon and had the best time. The food and entertainment is amazing. All staff work so hard including the guys cleaning the beach for seaweed. The entertainment staff made the holiday the best we’ve ever had, Luis, Jose, Angel, Maria all get 10/10!

  Amazing entertainment

  We have had amazing time at this resort, food, weather and staff are all brilliant. The entertainment while at the resort kept us occupied and was a lot of fun. Especially Louis was so friendly and engaging! Always encouraging us to come and have fun and keeping spirits high. Lots of energy and great entertainment. Entertainment in the evening was always amazing.

  Absolutely Terrific!!

  Staff: I start here only to single out Eduardo working in the main lobby check in. He helped us out with a "taxing issue" going above and beyond, always with a smile. That acknowledgement done, I must add that all the staff were typically friendly and extremely hard working. I honestly think one out of three times I used one of the many restrooms, it was being or just had been cleaned. Rarely was there sand or water on the floor and never litter. Eduardo in the culinarium was very nice as well volunteering improvements to my selection that were not listed in the menu . Food: the food was in my opinion excellent everywhere. Don't miss the Filet in Mia Casa and the flank steak at Carrata. The fish and chips and Burritos at the main outdoor lunch area were excellent as were the baked goods. The Buffets were smaller but really well managed and often hard NOT to choose despite the other a la carte restaurants. The Klay Talay was georgeous and really a fun evening. In fact the ambiance in all the ala cartes was outstanding save perhaps the Culinarium which was very bright but still nice. I am not a vegetarian but the offerings at the vegetarian restaurant for lunch were very tasty. Drinks: excellent with no issues getting premium brands simply by asking...Centanario tequila, Crown Royal, even a decent cognac, Further most of the bartenders were very competent.....I did have my favorites but never had a bad offering. Rooms: I have read the term 'outdated' in other reviews: perhaps not ultra modern but very well kept and well appointed. In fact my wife and I preferred the classic style. Beach: More than adequate and everyday there were several employees raking the seaweed. The Bally beds were REALLY a pleasant no cost addition and while we rarely got our first choice we always got a nice location every day for our 9 days visit. and loungers wre NEVER an issue. Added trips: we didn't use them personally but our friends loved the cenote trip. Transportation: I add this only because I myself was concerned with the free transfer and booked an alternate private transfer. I was glad we did because there were at least two other couples that ended having issues, one that was somewhat stressful but I am sure there were many more that things went just fine for. The lost couple of hours was not worth it to us but don't be afraid to take advantage. Entertainment: was very nice with guest bands at various settings; a saxaphone player twice during the week., several fun Mexican nights, a glow party and karoke. Nothing at all to complain about in my opinion and in fact very enjoyable. Summary: perhaps best suited for a less raucous guest (perfect) smaller jungle type feel but expansive enough for not being bored if you like to explore. In fact almost perfect
