The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and met our needs with efficiency and speed. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite. The room sizes were impressive and the view was awesome. The beds were comfortable with plenty of different pillows. We bought the all inclusive package and enjoyed the variety of food, beverages and alcoholic drinks.

Couldn’t ask for better Captains and Pool Waitstaff at El Moro
Shout out to the waitstaff by El Moro pool and beach, especially the Captains Rodolfo and Ramon. We’ve been coming to Mazatlan for 20 years and the waiters and captains at El Moro have never disappointed. They are filled with friendliness, personality and expertise. They are absolutely the best. Hats off to Rodolfo for managing such a great staff, who are like family after so many years.

Waiter Luis Loalza absolute blessing and joy on our spring break trip He greeted my 2 children everyday like he had known them for life !! Overall great experience at this resort Only if beach area could be a bit more private was troublesome for kids to have to answer to “sellers” every 2 secs while relaxing on beach

Great employee
Almost every day at the end of day I would go to the Elite lounge for a drink. On every occasion that Alejandra was on duty I was on duty I was greeted with a beautiful smile and a warm greeting. I had a number of conversations with her and she was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Can't wait to return

Love El Cid! Can't wait to come back!
Such a beautiful resort! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and effortless. The location is absolutely ideal—right on the water with stunning views, and close to everything you could want, but still peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. The grounds are immaculate, with lush landscaping, sparkling pools, and so many little spots to relax and take it all in. What really sets El Cid apart, though, is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay perfect. Daniela in the lounge deserves a special shoutout—she was so sweet, thoughtful, and made us feel right at home every time we stopped in. One of the most memorable moments was when the staff surprised us with a birthday cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the trip feel that much more special. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a place to celebrate something meaningful, I truly can’t recommend El Cid enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back!
