We had a great week at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort with friends and were very impressed overall. The food, drinks, and restaurant variety were excellent. Big shoutout to Rubi, who took amazing care of us from day one — keeping us active with pickleball, beach volleyball, and surfing while keeping the whole group entertained. She truly made the stay special. Rooms were cleaned daily and well maintained, which we appreciated. The only downside was that we paid for a sea-facing room but received a partial sea view. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would consider returning. ⭐

Overall we were very impressed with the experience.
We recently spent a fantastic week at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort with a group of friends, and overall we were very impressed with the experience. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent throughout our stay. There was a great variety of restaurants, and every meal felt fresh and well-prepared. The all-inclusive offering really delivered, and there was always something new to try, which kept the whole group happy. A special shoutout to Rubi, who truly made our trip memorable. From day one, she looked after us incredibly well and kept the energy high throughout the week. She got us involved in pickleball, beach volleyball, and surfing, and built a brilliant rapport with our group. Her enthusiasm and entertainment added huge value to our stay — she is a real asset to the resort. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping did a great job every single day, which we appreciated. However, the only downside was the sea view situation. We had paid for sea-facing rooms but were given partial sea view instead, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip with great food, drinks, activities, and service. With better clarity on room views, it would have been perfect. We would definitely consider returning.

I had a great time at Dream Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort! The resort was beautiful, the activities were fun, and the overall experience was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Rubi — she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every activity and had a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back!

Amazing first trip to Mexico
My experience at Dreams Vista was amazing! The food was delicious, the drinks were even better. The room was very clean and the pools were gorgeous. Our bell hop Hugo was very kind and helpful as were the rest of the staff on the resort. This definitely wasn't THE cheapest option but if you want the most out of your dollar this is the way to go. It was a great atmosphere and it was a great place to go for my first time in Cancun and Mexico. Im super excited to go back and I would highly recommend Dreams Vista for travel. Despite not being adults only i found there were many kids only / adults only places and I really was expecting it to be much noisier but the resort does exceptionally well keeping kids happy and busy that they have an outlet for their energy.

Room was large and clean. Robes and slippers were offered. The layout was great, with a sofa to relax on. The resort itself was clean and smaller than some others. It’s perfect for people who haven’t experienced large resorts before or for those who prefer a more intimate feel rather than walking long distances to get to the pool. The food was plentiful with enough variety for a 5-day vacation without getting tired of the options. The steakhouse costs extra and was probably my least favorite (appetizers were good, but the steak was average). The beach is small, but enough if you just want to relax in the sand. If you’re looking for long beach walks, this may not be the right place. There is a kids club and a teen room. My older kids went one night to play pool while we had dinner. My younger kids watched a movie in the younger kids club. They signed up for an activity (dino dig), but it didn’t end up happening, which was disappointing. We didn’t use the full-day kids club, but there were activities throughout the day if you needed a break. Time slots were one hour, which isn’t ideal because it’s hard to do much in that time, and sometimes parents were asked to stay nearby. They sanitize the toys each night, which is great. However, when we dropped the kids off for a movie during dinner, my son wanted to play in the kitchen area and was told he couldn’t because it had already been sanitized. Kids ages 3–6 don’t really understand that, and ideally the play area would remain accessible. Also, children are required to wear socks in the kids club. We didn’t know this in advance and had to return to our room to get socks (they are available for purchase for $6). The staff was excellent — truly above and beyond, even without tipping (though we did tip). Restaurant reservations were a bit confusing, as we received different instructions from different people. We were told to book using the app on a first-come, first-served basis. In the end, we were able to eat at all the restaurants and find tables, though sometimes it required checking back more than once. One request to fellow guests: please avoid reserving pool chairs for long periods without using them. Families with young children need seating near the pool. It’s understandable to step away briefly for lunch, but many chairs were reserved for extended periods without anyone returning. At one point, after waiting 1.5 hours, we asked staff if we could use unused chairs, and they kindly assisted. The kids’ slide and water park are located on the back side of the hotel and don’t get sun until around 3 p.m. This didn’t stop our kids from enjoying it. The wave pool was only open for a short time one day, which was disappointing. It would be nice if it were open daily for a few hours. The photo session is free, and you only pay for the pictures. However, the photos are quite expensive — $30 per photo, or $10 per photo if you purchase 100. We booked a private small boat snorkeling trip (9:30–12:00) with drinks and snacks included. It was a perfect experience for our family and friends. The catamaran excursion was too long for our younger kids (almost a full day with a stop at an island for lunch), so it wasn’t the right fit for us. The jet ski rental was great — 30 minutes was more than enough. This hotel is not ultra-luxury, but it is also not a lower-tier property. I would describe it as comfortably above average. Overall, we had a very nice experience and would recommend it.
