This resort was perfect for a quiet relaxing trip. It did not ever seem too busy. The restaurants sometimes had a 20-30 minute wait but that did not bother us. Liz and Isabel gave a really relaxing couples massage. The hydrotherapy circuit in the spa was really nice. We liked that the entertainment was there if you look for it but the area never seemed annoying. It wasn’t too loud or big party resort. Ruby in the entertainment team stood out to us and was very fun! My one criticism is that the nightly entertainment really did not have a good stage so they would sit a big crowd in seats around people performing who were standing on the ground so every night the entertainment was hard to see. They need to set this up properly with a stage in a theatre so people can see good.

Very understaffed. If you are UVC...do not go. You cannot get restaurant reservations and they will not do anything to accommodate you. It is not the staffs fault...there are not enough of them. World of Hyatt should work hard to hire more people and enhance the experience. I have loved every other Dreams and Secrets experience I have had and this was honestly awful. We brought two friends and I am embarrassed.

Jan 22, 2026Worst vacation ever!!!
This was hands-down the worst vacation experience of our lives. If you are traveling with children, stay away from this hotel at all costs. The pool was ice cold and unusable. The only warm water was in a tiny hot tub, and when our kids went in, staff literally yelled at us and said children were not allowed. On top of that, the water was filthy — thick white foam floating on the surface every single day. Completely disgusting. The food was terrible: low quality, tiny portions, and not even close to what you expect from an all-inclusive hotel. Drinks were made with the cheapest alcohol possible. Breakfast was a joke — every day a different waiter, and every time we asked for a cappuccino we were lied to: “machine broken,” “we don’t serve cappuccino,” etc. In 5 days we got ONE cappuccino. Service depends entirely on tipping. If you don’t tip immediately, they ignore you like you don’t exist. Then came the hot-water disaster. The entire hotel lost hot water for 4–5 hours and management said NOTHING. No warning, no apology. We were forced to bathe our two small kids in freezing cold water. Totally unacceptable. Our room was another nightmare. The AC didn’t work, and their “solution” was to tear open our bathroom wall, removing a huge piece of drywall and leaving construction debris everywhere. The drywall was full of visible mold (we took photos). Shortly after, a horrible smell started coming from the ceiling and we had to leave the room immediately. There is also basically no beach space for kids to play. And the worst part? This hotel is EXPENSIVE. You pay premium prices for dirty facilities, awful food, rude staff, and zero professionalism. Save your money. Save your vacation. Save your kids from this place. Do NOT book this hotel.

Dream wedding
I had my destination wedding at Dreams Vista Resort in November 2025, and it was everything I dreamed of and even better! The resort was absolutely amazing and provided everything and more for my special day. A huge part of what made the experience unforgettable was Josselyn, our wedding coordinator. She was the absolute best! Her attentiveness, punctuality, and incredible attention to detail made the entire wedding flow seamlessly. She managed every aspect with such professionalism and care that I never had to worry about a thing. I also want to highlight Manuel, who took such great care of booking my wedding party and family for all of their spa needs. He was friendly, accommodating, and made sure everyone felt relaxed and taken care of before and after the big day.

Great Massage
Had a great massage from Liz! 80 minutes of complete relaxation! The spa area was very clean and the Hydrotherapy was very refreshing!
