Enjoyable Family Vacation
We loved our recent stay at this resort. We had a basic room on the second floor with an amazing view of the pools and ocean. Our room made it easy to get to the lobby bar, restaurants, pool/beach. We only had to walk up or down one flight of stairs - super convenient. We never had to use the elevators. The views from the lobby bar were really spectacular. We had pre-dinner drinks there and saw whales pretty much every afternoon while enjoying our beverages. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and my 10 year old son loved the room service. The resort is on the smaller side, but I think that’s more of a plus. It’s also very close to downtown PV. It was a $5 uber ride to get to the Malecon.

not great - wouldn't go back
Did not love it, it was nice, but I would definitely not go back. The kids program was great - free and available all day, that was the best thing for me. Housekeeping was terrible, upon check-in there were no water bottles or drinks in the mini-fridge, had to call to get water the first day. The second day the fridge was not stocked again and room was not cleaned the first day, I had to call to receive cleaning and call to receive mini-fridge items. Turndown services were requested all 5 evenings and I only received it twice.

Great resort!
Great and friendly staff and service. The food is fantastic at all restaurants. The overall resort is very clean. We came with several kids and it was a great size resort for the kids (ages 6-17). We could see the kids when they weren’t directly with us.

Good but not the "dream" vacation we were hoping for.
We celebrated our 35th anniversary in 2025 and decided to treat ourselves booked Dreams PV. We were very excited to stay at a Dreams resort because of what we heard from others. The resort was nice and everything was good BUT it was disappointing and did not meet our expectations. We had a number of issues with our first room (not working AC, fan worked only on low, shower water pressure...) but fortunately they were able to move us to another room. Food was great and we really enjoyed the Mexican and the buffet. When checking (before we could even go to our room) we were given coupons and booked for a "gift" but it was not clear that it was a 90 presentation (I thought the free gift was for our anniversary - nope). We were approached by staff for presentation and to purchase a membership for the first 3 days. We finally did a presentation but never received the "free gift". During our entire stay there were "private events" every night. Some night were a bit much (fire works, loud music and people). Would have been nice to have a break from that a few nights. Pool and beach were also very nice but not sure I would go back for what we paid.

5 Star Dreams Vallarta Bay
Just had another wonderful time with family at Dreams Vallarta Bay. We take the family to different UVC resorts every year and this one really stood out even though we have been here many times. The resort was staffed with an abundance of people at the pool, restaurants, entertainment, and support staff who made the visit absoutely wonderful. Our UVC contact Clara was outstanding with assistance in many areas including a great birthday celebration. We must include others who made our vacation so special: Himitsu teppanyaki chef Rokai, Salvador and Michelle at Capers, Presila, Jovan, Alberto at Tamarindo, Diego Spa, Danny Entertainment, and Omar, "Super" Mario, Fernando at the pool. The experience at any resort is largely dependent on the staff and they were all great. Thanks for a wonderful vacation with family.
