    Most Amazing Wedding Week!

    My husband and I booked our Wedding and stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay, and had the most incredible experience! From the very start, I knew the Dreams Vallarta Bay was the PERFECT location for us. It was beautiful, looked fun, and had an amazing Weddng Venue and package. When planning our wedding, Livier Cortes, our wedding planner, made the experience so special and so customized to US and what WE loved. She was so warm, friendly, and informative. There was absolutely zero stress in planning this wedding thanks to Livier, and the Dreams Vallarta Bay team! From Livier, to our videographer, Alfredo, my make-up and hair stylist in the Secrets Spa, Monica, the DJ, to all the staff and bartenders....it was a true dream that came together! So grateful for everyone who helped make our wedding so special and so memorable! If you are looking for an amazing wedding location, or even an unforgettable vacation, you HAVE to choose Dreams/Secrets Vallarta Bay!

    Awesome family getaway spot and all inclusive

    We went with our three children for a wedding and were so impressed with the variety of activities, food and drinks available. It was a breathtakingly beautiful place and would highly recommend!

    Excellent value for the price.

    We had a great experience at Dreams Vallarta Bay. The food was better than anticipated, the drinks were great, and the evening entertainment was enjoyable. We’ve stayed at other Dreams resorts before, such as Dreams Sands in Cancun, and this experience was by far better than that one. The ocean can be a bit aggressive at times due to the tides, but it was still swimmable. Bring water shoes if you’re sensitive to rocky areas near the shore. Overall, for what we paid, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay with good vibes.

    Stay Elsewhere…

    Got scammed by the front desk. The old bait & switch. I called the week before check-in to confirm all reservation details. The on-site reservation dept at the resort assured me I would have a King room with one bed (we stayed for our wedding anniversary). Upon check-in, we were shocked to discover we were being forced into a room with 2 small beds. The manager Luciana, did absolutely nothing. The only solution offered was to upgrade to a swim up pool suite for $216 more per night. I tried contacting anyone who could help us on the premises but Luciana assured us there was no other solution and no one to help. She said the reservation dept simply ‘didn’t notate my request’ and therefore we had to live with the consequences of their errors. No one helped us or cared about our issue as a result of their error. Worst start to a vacation. We got dragged around for hours and didn’t get keys to this upgraded room that we paid extra (so we could sleep in 1 bed for our anniversary) until 4:30PM despite check in being 3PM. Funny enough, the next day, my husband and I overheard another poor couple going through the same hell upon their check-in…it’s clearly a regular scam they now treat as common practice to take advantage of customers. Wish we would’ve stayed at the Marriott….

    A little better than a 3 star.

    There was some nice things about the resort. We were only there 3 days . 2 of the days they had no internet and there was no urgency to fix it, this is a smaller resort in size of land, with too many people. 2 of the days they had run out of ice cream, pizza and ketchup, the weddings occupied a lot of the space around the pool area which made it impossible to get any loungers by the pool . On the one day that there was not a wedding it was still unlikely to get a spot. The food is not bad and more than enough items were quite good. Most staff are wonderful . The ones that were rude left a bad taste and not necessary. ( check-in was terrible) The resort being small in size definitely made it impossible to find a quiet area at nite. . Do not plan on going to sleep until the earliest 11pm. The noise will die down after that. I’m not complaining about that but it’s surprising given there are so many small children. The rooms are lovely and the cleaning ladies did a great job. I don’t think I will return to that Dreams. Too overpriced for what is offered. There are many Dreams that are quite a bit better than that one .
