    Great vacation thanks to the staff

    I want to thank everyone at Dreams for making our recent stay so wonderful. A special mention to **Joel on the beach** who helped us with a few issues regarding our beach chairs and a vendor under an umbrella bothering us. He made us feel heard and truly taken care of and he arranged a day at Secrets for us which we appreciated so much. I also want to recognize **Ulyses from Membership Services**. He was incredible, sending helpful texts every day, answering all of our questions, and arranging a dinner for us at Secrets. His support made a big difference in our stay. Finally, a huge thank you to the team at the Mexican restaurant: **Jovan, Alberto, Alma, Caesar, Karen, and Saul**. Their service was absolutely outstanding and truly memorable. The Mexican restaurant used to be my least favourite and it instantly became my favourite because of this amazing staff and the food was fantastic too. Thank you all so much for such a great experience.

    We can't wait to return!

    We had our wedding here in November and it was absolutely magical! The location is close to the airport, downtown, the romantic zone, and all of the tours we did. The restaurants at the resort are excellent, and we'd definitely recommend doing the Chef's Table. The best part of our stay was the staff here. They are fantastic! We'd like to give special shout outs to Febe, our amazing wedding coordinator, Eduardo, the awesome spa manager, Ivan, our super wedding photographer, Daniello, our entertaining wedding MC, and Noemi, our wonderful and attentive butler. This resort is pricey, but if you're looking for a great holiday or somewhere to stay for a special occasion, we would definitely recommend it!

    Fabulous resort

    Can’t beat the food or service. All if the restaurants were fantastic.The view from out room 2564, was fabulous. Our first trip here, but won’t be our last

    Excellent Service, Beds Need Upgrade

    My husband, kids and I spent a week at Dreams for my brother’s wedding. The service at this hotel was fantastic. Whether it be at the pool, the restaurants, the bars, housekeeping, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food at all the restaurants was also very good, with a good variety of food choices. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t try the Italian restaurant as it was adults only. Which seemed strange seeing as this is a family hotel, not an adults only like their neighbour hotel Secrets. The pools and ocean were great too. Especially the waterside, it was a highlight for our kids. Would recommend bringing your own pool floaties though, as they were $25USD to purchase at hotel. Same goes for sunscreen, bring a few extra as it was also $25USD for a bottle. Our only issue with our stay was the beds. Our room had two double beds but I really wished they offered two queens, as the beds felt small for a parent and a child to share. Also the beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. The mattresses were so hard and the pillows were lumpy. For a Hyatt property we definitely expected better quality and comfort. Overall though we had a wonderful time.

    Still great!

    This was our family's 7th time. Things that remain amazing: Explorers Club genuinely cares for our kids, Tamarind continues to adapt their menu, Pool bar and food service is consistently great. Things that have decreased: there is a significant drop in pool activity variability. Also there is no longer bottled water at the pools. Late checkout was a problem despite the hotel not being full. Our butler Jose was great. We miss Carlos who was the butler for all our previous stays and was wonderful and hope he comes back. Staff to call out!
