We stayed at Dreams Sapphire Resort in mid-November and had a very good overall experience. The property is pretty and the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially Jose at the pool, Michelle at the smoothie bar, and the amazing team at the Explorer’s Club (Yahaira and Nancy). The entertainment team, especially Mar and Sam, was fantastic, I even had the chance to teach a Zumba class, which was a highlight! The food was decent, with the à la carte restaurants better than the buffet (I would have loved more Mexican options). The property is a bit outdated and could benefit from upgrades, for example, our balcony door handle broke on the first night, although maintenance arrived quickly to fix it. The only real downside was the beach, as the sargassum and garbage made it hard to fully enjoy, despite staff efforts to keep it clean. Overall, we would definitely recommend this resort for families visiting the Riviera Maya. Just keep in mind that the beach is not the best if that’s a main priority. All in all, we had a really great time!

Dreams Sapphire
We stayed at the Dream Sapphire Resort & Spa from November 22–28 and had a wonderful vacation. We traveled with two rooms; one of them had a musty smell upon arrival, but the staff handled the situation promptly and moved us to a new room the following afternoon. Their willingness to help set the tone for the rest of our stay. Each morning we were greeted in the Preferred Club by Moises and Antonio, who were truly exceptional. By the end of our very first breakfast, they already knew all of our names and drink orders. Their warm hospitality and incredible service made every morning feel special—we were absolutely spoiled. The pool area quickly became one of our favorite parts of the resort. The entertainment team, Tony and Mar, brought nonstop energy and smiles. They kept everyone laughing, engaged, and having fun all week long—we genuinely don’t know when they sleep. David, the bartender at the pool bar, mixed fantastic cocktails and always had a smile on his face. And our poolside waitress, Krystel, was outstanding—somehow she always seemed to deliver fresh drinks just as we were finishing the previous round. We also have to mention Jaime at the beach bar. He’s phenomenal—great music, great service, and great vibes. He kept the atmosphere lively and was a huge part of what made our beach days so enjoyable. He’s truly an asset to the resort. The Dream Sapphire Resort & Spa is beautiful, but it’s the incredible staff who made this trip unforgettable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care won our hearts. We had an amazing vacation and would happily return.

Nov 29, 2025Great til the wedding showed up right outside my room with two young children
Was going great until we paid for an ocean view room which there are rooms with wide open views and we barely got a partial and of buildings and we were stuck the closest room possible to a very loud wedding and we registered we were coming with a one year old. Called the front desk twice and they basically said nothing we can do doesn’t end til 10 and our room sounds like the inside of a club
